I have been in the healthcare profession sense 1979 I have worked convalescent hospitals Board and Care Homes I was a supervisor of an alzheimer's unit which I had 13 girls under me and 15 residents I ordered all meds all supplies for the residents I interacted with their families past meds did incontinent care showers feedings hospice care catheter care administered insulin standby assist assist clients after surgery light housekeeping companionship and more I am licensed through the state of California and I am fingerprinted through Live Scan DOJ and FBI CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Bloodborne pathogens Certification .

Lots of hospice experience, fluent with my English and Spanish! Super patient and loving! Love what I do and will always treat my patients like family. I am passionate about helping others and enjoy caring for others. It's always very rewarding when I see my client happy! I am a Certified nurse assistant and have my home health aid license! What makes me a great caregiver is that i always make sure my seniors are happy to get it started. I became a caregiver because i wanted to experience how it is to help them, one day i want to be able to know how to take care of my mom and grandmother. I love being a caregiver because it simply makes me happy, to see a simple smile on an elderly makes my day! To live another day no matter the pain that they are in and still manage to hang tight is what i admire from them. I am proud of being who i am today a great mother to my boys and a great caregiver. I treat the seniors around me the way i would want the seniors in my family get treated. One day i will be that way and would want a great caregiver. I love what i do.

I believe that I am a great caregiver because of my many years as a CNA/Caregiver/Mental Health Tech. And the experience that I have in the various fields that I have been privileged to work in my 25 plus years. By working different areas of the health field I was exposed to many levels of geriatric care, and have gained much knowledge over the years which helps me to concentrate on the specific needs of my Elder clientele . Their needs come first, and I try to accommodate them by the level of care that best suits their needs at the time.

As a Caregiver and a registered Home Health Aide since 2011, I take great pride in my work and in my clients and their families as well. I work hard to ensure my client is always comfortable, safe and well taken care of. I am very reliable, punctual and trustworthy. As a Christian I hold true to my beliefs and take those values with me to work. I have my own reliable transporation. I have insurance and am comfortable with ALL pets. I do not smoke and I like to use up all my time properly and adequately when on the clock. Basically, to put in another term...I get stuff done. I do not just sit there on my phone and pass time by. I actively engage with my client making sure all the tasks are taken care of and that my client is too.

Empathy and compassion. Working with people in a home care setting, it is important that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion i will let the person I am caring for know that I care about the person and want to do what i can to help them. Patience, reliability, trustworthiness, flexibility, and understanding are characteristics that make a good caregiver and is what I believe I have. And a good caregiver are those who naturally have an urge to help others. I want to make the world a better place and want to do it with one home care patient at a time.

I became a care Giver because love to talk to people and help them out anyway is possible and like being with the elderly. I love to meet new people and their families and be able to help them out. I am proud of Being married to my wife of 16 years and having three beautiful kids together and they are amazing. Fun loving person care for everybody and love sports.
