I believe in delivering quality of life for seniors and clients of any age! Showing compassion through sincere listening and being present for the clients I care for is a top priority. Through home visits with various agencies, live-in care, and working with an Assisted Living Center my combined services to the elderly have helped me thrive in the industry of caring. In the realm of younger folks, I drove a school bus for years and taught home schooled children including my own. I taught a class on self-empowerment based on the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series too. The classes I taught were an eye-opener and perhaps opened the door to a new way of viewing life. The life experiences I've had with Seniors who have become family to me and ultimately my friends has given me much more than I could have possibly conceived of giving to them! I found that with kids, being present and seeing the beautiful gifts they have inside always brought those gifts out with the acknowledgement. The services I've provided are most assuredly a soul's calling! Senior care and working with younger folks has been a perfect fit with my desire to make a difference with others, and the kind of career I totally enjoy! I have a knack for understanding human nature and the needs of the heart and naturally, I learned this through my own life experiences. We all are truly one when it comes to matters of the heart and what this life means! Applying the knowledge of our oneness is what the care of others is all about. I'm seeing my own reflection in the hearts of those that I serve in this type of work. From that seeing, I give the best of who I am to others! Importantlly too is the fact that I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have over 20 years experience caring for Seniors.

I became a caregiver to help people feel more independent while in there own home .I love being a caregiver because the look on clients face when you make them feel independent is priceless. I am proud that everyone I come across loves the great work I do I am a parent to a son with autism so I know patience and helping makes a difference the medical field has always been my calling.

I have been a CNA for 20 years. I enjoy helping and working with our Seniors because they have taught me a lot over the years. I have experience working in homes, nursing homes, hospitals and I also have 5 years experience working for Hospice. I am Certified in CPR and First Aid. I am patience, dependable, neat and clean. I love to cook also. I am a non smoker, non drinker, I have a good driving record and I have a excellent background. I have experience working with Alzheimer's, Dementia, stroke, cancer patients, brain injuries, Parkinson, diabetes, ALS, patients with feeding tubes, Foley Catheters,, Tracheas, and vents. What makes me a good caregiver is my the patience I exercise to my clients in my care especially difficult ones. I used to care for my mother in law who had dementia before she passed away in 2015. She wasn't easy to care for but someone had to help her and I was the one who did it daily. I believe we should take care of our elderly population just as we would like when we become elderly ourselves. I get a special kind of satisfaction from taking care of others. One achievement that first comes to mind is my special ability to communicate with people who suffer with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. It makes me feel great that I play a part in making their lives a little easier.

I became a caregiver because i like working with people and making a difference to their lives. I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .

My name is Bless, I've been in Senior Care for the pass 4 years. I was raised by my grandfather he is now 85 and healthy, I have a passion for helping and caring for my elders. Although I am In my last year in college to complete my Psychology Degree, I enjoy the fact that the education knowledge I've gained always come hand in hand with working with my patience. I love to learn and enjoy new experiences even as simple as taking a walks outdoor. I am Also from a Jamaican background in which I enjoy cooking every different type of meal. I am very patient and helpful, cleaning comes naturally to me and is something growing up I was always taught to have pride in. Lastly, one personal achievement I am proud of is moving out of New York and starting an entire new journey in Atlanta which was one of the best decisions yet.
