I am very caring, patient and always there to help in any way I can. I've always had a passion for helping others, and it gives me great joy when I'm able to help someone. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is having the opportunity to creat bonds and relationships with my clients. And knowing that I'm make a small difference in their lives. One personal achievement I am most proud of is going back to school.

I became a caregiver to help people feel more independent while in there own home .I love being a caregiver because the look on clients face when you make them feel independent is priceless. Over six years of hands-on experience as a caregiver I took care of Alzheimer's and P arkinson's adults., take and record vital signs , prepare and serve meals, assist with changing and toilet, perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry, assist using a for lift to transfer to different areas, a company to and from appointments and other activities. I like to help people who doesn't have the ability to help themselves. When I see the elders I am picturing my mother. I like giving them care, I also like to see them going to the next level while I'm with them. I'm a married woman I have four children and two grandchildren.

I have been a CNA for 20 years. I enjoy helping and working with our Seniors because they have taught me a lot over the years. I have experience working in homes, nursing homes, hospitals and I also have 5 years experience working for Hospice. I am Certified in CPR and First Aid. I am patience, dependable, neat and clean. I love to cook also. I am a non smoker, non drinker, I have a good driving record and I have a excellent background. I have experience working with Alzheimer's, Dementia, stroke, cancer patients, brain injuries, Parkinson, diabetes, ALS, patients with feeding tubes, Foley Catheters,, Tracheas, and vents. I began care-giving by assisting my grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Caring for my grandmother has opened my heart with a compassion to care for others.Since becoming a C.N.A, I have cared for seniors with the following conditions: Alzheimer’s disease, Stroke, Paraplegics, Cancer, feeding tubes, Catheter, Diabetes, Hospice, Parkinson’s and knee replacement. I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .

My name is Bless, I've been in Senior Care for the pass 4 years. I was raised by my grandfather he is now 85 and healthy, I have a passion for helping and caring for my elders. Although I am In my last year in college to complete my Psychology Degree, I enjoy the fact that the education knowledge I've gained always come hand in hand with working with my patience. I love to learn and enjoy new experiences even as simple as taking a walks outdoor. I am Also from a Jamaican background in which I enjoy cooking every different type of meal. I am very patient and helpful, cleaning comes naturally to me and is something growing up I was always taught to have pride in.
