I am a dedicated and compassionate caregiver who enjoys helping people. I strive in providing personalized care to my client and family. After helping my mom takes care of my father with stroke for three years, I developed passion and the desire to help care for people battling with any kind of disease. I enjoyed working as a caregiver because with patience and paying attention to the little details I'm able to make a difference in people's lives.

I believe that we are all special, unique, different and with a purpose for our existence here on earth. For the many years that I have been taking care of the military men and women, I have loved the joy and appreciation that they give back. What I enjoy most of being a caregiver is that I'm able to help them with all their needs. I'm being able to train and educate other caregivers because of my experience.

I have Self-control, sincere, devoted, generous, and kind. As a mother, and someone who came from a large family in which caregiving is rooted deep in my culture, I always wanted to take caregiving as a career and improve along that pathway. I like to entertain, converse, and read aloud to keep my patients or resident's alert. I also like to run errands and do weekly grocery shopping for them. In 2015 I started giving care to a couple. The wife pre-deceased the husband whom I continue to take care of. It has been 7 years now and counting, the children of this patient no longer consider me as a caregiver, but a family member because (according to them) of the 5-star care that I give to their dad. This is my personal achievement that I am most proud of in my career as a care giver.

Taking care of my dying Mother at a younger age gave me the pride to take that path and to always take care of my Client with a passion. I am very dedicated and take my job seriously. I have taken care of a lot of Client for all this years and being able to take care of a particular Client for more than 4years when Doctors had told the family She had 6 months to live a lone makes my happy. Care is not only about taking care of someone but as to how you treat the person and make them feel makes a huge difference. That made me so proud of my self because it made me realize I made a difference and I did my job as a caregiver and recognized the client as a family of my own

Hello am a caregiver with the experience of taking care of the elderly, who was trained with the Sunrise Assisted Living in the year 2004,after a year sat for the State Board to be certified ,was then employed with the Hermitage and Fairfax Nursing Homes for quite sometime, within one of these facilities had a client who preferred to be cared for at home. Later part of 2006 I started private duty in Vienna VA and in 2009 Feb she passed away peacefully. Ive always felt that taking care of people was my calling. I love every aspect of it, everyone you meet has a different story to tell so why not have a reason to spend time with them and listen to who they are. When it comes to caregiving there isn't one thing that i could say i like more than the other, simply because I cherish every moment. When it comes down to being a caregiver I dont look at it as a job, to me its more of taking care of a family member I've never met before.
