I have over 15 years of experience providing reliable and compassionate care in both an Adult Family Home and in private home settings. I am committed to providing quality care while focusing on a person's emotional well being, understanding the importance of listening to, talking to and providing emotional support to clients.

I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and two minors in human development and sociology. Since then I have been working for a residential care agency with adult family homes and single individual apartments. I began as a caregiver and moved up to a site supervisor and eventually an area supervisor. As an area supervisor I manage eight special needs clients and 25 staffing caregivers. I am looking to change my job and do private caregiving as it will be closer to my home. I absolutely love being a caregiver and I cannot imagine myself doing anything else. I have a vast array of experience with many types of medical diagnoses and special needs. I strongly believe that the greatest skills a caregiver can have is incredible patience and to remain positive and smiling for those you care for! My name is sulayman hydara, I moved to Washington state August 2001 from newyork ,I came here to go to school To become a nurse ,but due to financial problem I have to quit and I become a cna ,I work in many nursing home and cute care setting ,I love working in health care ,because I llike helping people and make difference in their life ,assisted them to become independent,I love pets animals except snake .I still don't give up on my education may be one day I will become a nurse .

I feel I'm a great care giver because you have to love what you do its a career for me not a job.I love the feeling of helping someone who can't help themselves. I became a caregiver do to helping a family member out who had a stroke I just felt great about doing something I was good at.I love getting to know the client and the storys they tell the struggles and life they have lived its wonderful I learn a lot of history and they have companionship.its a wonderful feeling when you wake up and are ready to go to work and no regrets

Since I was little nothing excited me more than helping people emotionally mentally and physically. When I was in my junior year of high school I had the opportunity to get my CNA license and it's the best decision I've ever made. The best part of my job is getting to know the people I take care of. Learning of their past and experiences and being able to gain trust and loyalty in one another is so important to me. I'm going to school for my BSN and I feel so fortunate to be a part of the medical field and get some insight.

I start to work as a care giver in 1999, and I was able to do a good job, because I like to treat elderly with respect and dignity, and do my best to meet their needs, and their families, so I become a provider on my own AFH, and now I am proud of being a CNA, able to care for all kind of needs, including hospice care.-
