My best friend was my Grandmother. She lived with us when she couldn't be by herself anymore. Then it became too much on us we made her home in a local nursing home. Not only would I visit my grandmother but I got to know many other residents at the facility. My best friend passed away in 1994. I graduated high school in '95 and became a CNA in '96. Every person has a story and I like to hear it with my heart. I always say that I treat people the way I would like to be treated.

I became a CNA because I am a very Compassionate person. I grew up in church and learned that Respect and Love are to very important things you can give to a person.
