I have been part of my Nogales community and serving my hometown for over 20 years. My kindness and expertise has allowed me to work close with elders in my community. I have and extemded professional background in the medical field and would love to continue to serve in the medical area.

I started with the State of California taking certification classes to help someone needing double hip replacements and couldn't walk and was recovering from breast cancer. Today, she is a walking survivor! Next I joined Phoenix Health Care and took classes on immobile patients such as transferring and changing bedding. I was sent to several different situations including a hospice patient. My last position was with an elderly woman in her home that had several serious issues, one of which was COPD. It became a joyful experience when, after working with her diet and routines, that she actually became symptom free and actually wanted to participate in activities again. Caregiving became a lifestyle for me and I was honored to be able to help in any way that was needed because I could.

I have eight years experience as an exceptional and reliable certified caregiver and CNA for both male and female clients. I decided I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and CNA work when my grandfather fell I'll 25 years after he had a brain aneurysm, I cared for my grandfather for almost 2 years before he passed away in 2018. My best friend was my Grandmother. She lived with us when she couldn't be by herself anymore. Then it became too much on us we made her home in a local nursing home. Not only would I visit my grandmother but I got to know many other residents at the facility. My best friend passed away in 1994. I graduated high school in '95 and became a CNA in '96. Every person has a story and I like to hear it with my heart. I always say that I treat people the way I would like to be treated.
