I am a natural nurturing person. I I decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a nurse or a doctor. I had a grandmother that suffered from Alzheimer's disease for 13 years. Majority of the time that she was sick I cared for her. I always knew I needed to get into the health field because I saw how important it is to have a support system. When you have someone in your family who can no longer take care of themselves it seems to have a ripple effect with everyone surrounding them. At some point we could no longer take care of my grandmother in the house so we had to hire a home health aide and in doing so I really grew to appreciate the nature of the job. You become an extended family member you grow great bonds with your clients or patients and their familes. I love being an aide.

I love working with people. I also love making my clients feel as we are family and we connect a special bond. Becoming a caregiver was my very first job and it was something I always enjoy doing.

Hello! I owned & operated a boutique home care agency serving seniors for fifteen years prior to selling the agency and moving to SC with my husband and two boys a couple years ago. I absolutely love spending time with seniors. I enjoy providing companionship and listening to their stories. I love to cook! I became a CNA because I am not happy unless I am caring for someone. I have cared for children and the elderly. I enjoy caring for the elderly so much that I wanted to continue. I cared for my grandparents for 2 1/2 years and although caring for little ones is fulfilling, I have never been as satisfied as when I have been caring for the elderly. I love learning from the elderly and listening to their stories. I love being able to give back. I am most proud of my family. I have four children. Three are grown and the youngest is the apple of my eye. I have a wonderful husband that I just adore. I am a cat lover and have seven babies. They never cease to bring me joy.
