Hello! I owned & operated a boutique home care agency serving seniors for fifteen years prior to selling the agency and moving to SC with my husband and two boys a couple years ago. I absolutely love spending time with seniors. I enjoy providing companionship and listening to their stories. I love to cook! I am able to assist with all activities of daily living including light housekeeping, cooking, personal care, transportation, medication, exercise... I have extensive training/experience working with dementia as well as many other conditions. I am honest, compassionate, reliable and hardworking. My name is Tiara I'm 25 years old, when I was 18 my grandmother fell ill and there was nobody that we felt could give her the around the clock skilled care she needed without going into a facility (which nobody would have allowed to happen) so I began caring for her myself, following under the direction hospice had given. I began turning her as needed aiding in her mobility so she wouldn't lose the use of her legs, hand over hand feeding her. Anything she needed I was there and I realized I didn't just like to help but instead it gave me a good feeling to know I was doing more then just assisting I was a companion. She was no longer"down in the dumps" it's a wonderful feeling. I'm a very honest easy going person, I've got a habit of always seeing the brighter side. I enjoy reading and cooking in my free time. Im currently awaiting my test for my cna certification and soon after I will be bridging to LPN.

I've been caregiving for actually awhile I have a nephew that had brain and spinal cancer and I cared for him he had a feeding tube a tube to drain fluid of the brain around the clock meds andchemo it was really challenging but we made it by the grace of God. To sum it all up having to get him better just made me realize that there's people everyday that needs someone to just care and give there time

I have been in medical field all my life. It's a calling for me. I take great pride and joy in helping others. I've worked in the field as EMT and as a PCT in a hospital setting. I've also worked in home health for many years private care. I took care paraplegic veterans. As well as special needs children.

I have always enjoyed taking care of people and helping every way that I can. I took care of my nanny for 4 years before she passed and that is what initially made me become a care giver. I believe the most essential asset that I have is I know what my patients experience and relate to they way they feel. I was in a bad car wreck 3 years ago, and I was disabled and could not walk for a year. I was put into a nursing home for rehabilitation and was not able to do anything for mysel .

I have been working in patient care10+ years with different types of patients performing duties such as, bathing meal prep, medications reminders, transfers, and other patient care duties.

I am a very professional, caring, compassionate, honest, very funny and interesting person. You will never be bored with me. I have hundreds of interesting stories as I've been traveling to other towns, states, countries and I've lived in USA for over 20 years. I've been a Registered Nurse since 2010 and I have a vast experience. I've worked as a nurse in detox/rehabilitation settings, I worked as an RN on Internal Medicine units, orthopedics, neurology, observational units, Med/Surg/Telemetry, skilled/assisted living, hospice, doctor's offices and prisons. I am looking forward to relocate back in or around Raleigh-Durham or anywhere close to that area.

I always have love helping people I believe that was my calling in life.when I was 5 my uncle had asked me what I wanted to b when I grew up I said I wanted to go in the nursing field .So i started out babysitting when I was 13 yrs old n then in high school I took up Certified nursing assistant n I loved it so I been doing nursing assistant for over 30 yrs I love to see the smile on there face or the sparkle in there eyes when they knows somebody cares enough to help them feel there tasked that they can't do.Thanks Denise

I been a CNA for about 10 years. I love working with people in general. I was taking care if my grandparents until they moved. I was taking care of my aunt that had Lupus until she died. This is my calling NOT a job!!
