I am a fun, loving and easy to get along person with empathy towards my caregiving careers. I love to talk with new people and try to build up positive relationships as possible. I am willing with confident to provide support and safe for any gender on any care they need as possible. I always respect, provide independent and dignity for my client as possible. I always like to be a good listener to client not only to express themselves but I learnt different good deed from them the old fashioned way, and I take it. Most of the client i provide care for them will always consider as one of family member, for theirs to mine as well as mine for theirs. I'm good at what I do. I'm very reliable and I work hard. I started being a care provider from my moms friend and I enjoyed helping her until she passed away. I enjoy helping people that need my help that can't do things for they self. My personal achievement would be that I'm a hard working man I'm able to get up and go to work everyday without regard.

I've completed training in the following courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, Last phase of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical, Alzheimer's & Dementia Basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, to name a few. Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences, their knowledge, and the wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

Care giving is something i choose to do out of passion, and dream I love helping older people, just like i love taking care of children too. because I always pray to live longer and old ,so I started by trying to help volunteering weekly because am in to filmmaking,singing and dancing which Is also one of my passion ,but The job comes once a while before i decided to make it a full time job due to my experience with older people, and people with special needs .So what made me a better caregiver is because I care for my clients like they are my own parents and family in a special way.My believe as a caregiver is you need first to love people as you love yourself,then put yourself in their shoes and feel their pains then you will know how it feels that they need more time and care ..

Why a caregiver it has always been in the family the nourishment and ability to help each other. I enjoy how my clients share their life history it means we have bonded in a personal way he or she is willing to give information that is usually meant for their family. Personal achievement to be proud of there are many I am proud of overcome any difficulties life put on our path. Life is a rollercoaster we all have difficulties that is the ride going up, we have our scary moments those are the turns/twists on a ride and the fun is the flat area toward the end when everything seems to be going our way.

I am from small island of Srilanka ,and back home I was a primary teacher and subject teacher in high school student for 8 years.Looking for kids have teaching experience for six years help for me to take care elderly kids. Year 2008 June I came to U S A as a Permanent residence. From 2009 I got the first client Mrs Sydrion Lofton .She was spinal stenosis client. For four and a half years she got lot of improvements while I took care her. But unfortunately When she had a surgery I lost my loving client. She treats me like her own daughter. She is a good friend to me. I lost first job,friend mother, teacher, well wisher. Honestly I like teaching job . and It take long time to cover the units. But when I stat the caregiving job , It's gives me more happy. and I need to help my daughter s college expenses also. So I choose caring Elderly people.
