About me. My name isJeanette Lopez I'm 44- years old . I was born and NY raised in Puerto Rico . I would describe myself as outgoing , friendly, and talkative. I thrive when surrounded by other people, and find it easy to connect with anyone I meet. Always looking for bridges , not fences. I would also say that I have a sense of humor, and people generally enjoy my company. I think what describes me the best is the "creative mind " because I always enjoy to come up with ideas, think outside the box, or even challenge the status quo. Now it doesn't mean that I find it hard to oblige the rules . I do that. But I don not hesitate twice to share my feed back and suggest improvements. I'm always willing to try new hobbies, learn new skills. I would also describe myself as a very calm and balanced person. Always try to see the brighter side of things. I am a good companion for the talk about virtually any topic. I also love traveling and exploring new places. I love cats, dogs and most all animals. I believe in lifelong learning and personal growth. I developed an interest in caregiving at a very young age. During my teenage years. I I help my mother with my grandparents . I knew since then I loved helping caring for other. I always enjoyed playing and combing my dolls hair, feeding and play cooking for them. I always look after the house keeping home cleaned and organized. I have been a Certified Home Health Aide for 20 years . I like to look at my client as if I am caring for my own Loved one is what helps me become a better caregiver. What attracted me to become a caregiver is that I was looking after my grandma and I was the only one around and helping, while other family was out living life when there own mom needed them the most. So after she passed i looked into being a caregiver and have been doing my job every since. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that they tell a lot of amazing story's, and you can pick up a lot of wisdom from them as well. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I recently received my High School Diploma and is soon about to study for LPN

I make a great caregiver because, I'm patient, nurturing,and knowledgeably. I'm experienced with stroke, dementia,altzimer , memory care and physical and speech therapy. As well as quadriplegic. I can use hoyer lift as well as sit to stand lift gait belts,, etc.. I am dedicated to my clients and their needs. I'm loyal and honest, reliable ,caring, and patient .I'm sympathetic and nurturing , organized and if need to I can make sure meds , appointment, grocery's are all set up at no extra cost.

What makes me an outstanding caregiver is that I am very caring, compassionate, have tremendous patience, and I enjoy making a difference in someone else life. I have 25+ plus years experience in the medical field working as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home health Aide/Medical Assistant. Currently enrolled in college completing my BA in Psychology/Social Work degree. I am employed by Life Path Hospice which has truly taught me how precious life is and the meaning of being able to care for myself and others.

I like to have conversations with my clients to get to know them. I also am a free spirit, I get along with anyone . What attracted me to be a caregiver is caring for my mom. I helped her with a lot , bathing , feeding , just about everything and I knew it was something that I wanted to do. I enjoy taking care of my clients to the best of my ability and just being a helping hand. I'm proud of me for not giving up and wanting to progress everyday in what I love to do.

Since I could remember I've always wanted to help people. Growing up I watched my great grandmother helping everyone that she could. I was always being told that to be in the healthcare field it takes a special person. While that is true I believe that person has to have the passion and love for what they do.
