I believe in lifelong learning and personal growth. I developed an interest in caregiving at a very young age. During my teenage years. I I help my mother with my grandparents . I knew since then I loved helping caring for other. I always enjoyed playing and combing my dolls hair, feeding and play cooking for them. I always look after the house keeping home cleaned and organized. I have been a Certified Home Health Aide for 20 years . I have 25+ plus years experience in the medical field working as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home health Aide/Medical Assistant. Currently enrolled in college completing my BA in Psychology/Social Work degree. I am employed by Life Path Hospice which has truly taught me how precious life is and the meaning of being able to care for myself and others.

I love aged people just as I love babies, I enjoy taken care of them, I respect them for what they are. It is sad to say but once a man twice a child, meaning most human living long ,can reach to a condition that we can't help ourselves, also having a desease is a stage that we cannot control and that is the reason why families, care givers and everyone in general should has respect for the elderly and the helpless people, treat them as You would like to be treated. Hello! My name is Alyson. I first became a care giver, before I even got my license, when I was 15. I worked for the park district, working with families and then babysitting children. I even worked as a nanny for a few families. I also cared for children and adults that are physically or mentally disabled. I have cared for elderly people as well. I have cared for clients who needed a little help with cooking and cleaning to hands on care for those who had Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Dementia. I have also house and pet sat for multiple families. I am a very caring, sweet, patient person. Being a caregiver is a great fit for me because I enjoy helping people and listening to their stories. I have a great sense of pride going home after work, knowing that I made a difference in someone else's life. Something I am proud of today; caring for clients with so many different needs over the years. One of my clients made it through to the point, she didn't need care anymore. She was able to be independent on her own after I helped her for four years. During my time when I am not working to help other people, I enjoy outside activities, taking care of my garden, my indoor plants, crafting, kayaking, camping, cooking and spending time with my loved ones and pets.
