I have been part of my Nogales community and serving my hometown for over 20 years. My kindness and expertise has allowed me to work close with elders in my community. I have and extemded professional background in the medical field and would love to continue to serve in the medical area.

I started with the State of California taking certification classes to help someone needing double hip replacements and couldn't walk and was recovering from breast cancer. Today, she is a walking survivor! Next I joined Phoenix Health Care and took classes on immobile patients such as transferring and changing bedding. I was sent to several different situations including a hospice patient. My last position was with an elderly woman in her home that had several serious issues, one of which was COPD. It became a joyful experience when, after working with her diet and routines, that she actually became symptom free and actually wanted to participate in activities again. Caregiving became a lifestyle for me and I was honored to be able to help in any way that was needed because I could.

I have eight years experience as an exceptional and reliable certified caregiver and CNA for both male and female clients. I am upbeat, thoughtful, kind, very honest, highly empathetic and sincerely compassionate. I always provide the very best care that is available to you. To take care of my elderly mother. I have always cared about the elderly and to make sure they receive proper care. I have raised two children successfully and have always been looked up to for the care and love I always give my family members. I am a 55 year old mother and wife. I have five sisters and my mother living in the same town. Our family is close and very loving. I have completed a CNA program through the local hospital. I have cared for grandmother and great-grandmother when they were ill and ready to pass-on.

I decided I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and CNA work when my grandfather fell I'll 25 years after he had a brain aneurysm, I cared for my grandfather for almost 2 years before he passed away in 2018. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is seeing how much I am able to give the people I take care of a sense of independence, stability and making them feel loved and comfortable. Seeing them smile and happy, making sure to ensure the people I care for that they are seen and that they are not a burden or unloved but that they are loved. Making the people I care for have a sense of hope after my caretaking is very rewarding. One of my biggest personal achievements I am most proud of is becoming a mother. As well as pushing myself to go back to school and graduated college with my medical assistant diploma and graduating with high honors with a GPA of 3.93!

Hello my name is Maria. I've been a caregiver in the Green Valley area for over 12 years. I like making a difference in peoples lives.

Having just completed my training at CareGiver Training Institute, passing the State Exam, and becoming certified in both the AHA First Aid and AHA BLA/CPR Programs, I am excited to embark on a new career as a Certified Caregiver/Med-Tech. While I have yet to obtain work experience in this capacity, I have over two years volunteer experience in which I provided respite care through Odyssey Health Care, as well as volunteering for the Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program by driving seniors to appointments and/or assisting with shopping needs. I am a compassionate, empathetic, and dependable individual with over twenty-five years experience in dealing with people, as well as countless volunteer hours through the years in working with the elderly as well as with young children through the Vail School District. I have a heart and passion for making a difference in peoples' lives and while this type of work can be challenging, I feel it is very rewarding/satisfying. I also possess a State of AZ Dept. of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card which is good through 9/26/2025, so you don't have to worry about your loved ones safety while they are under my care.
