My name is Jessica I love being a caregiver because I have a compassion and a heart for helping the elderly. I've always took care of my grandma up until she passed away and I enjoy and love the elderly!

I am Nikita Crew from Covington, GA. I am 21 years old. I have worked in Customer Service for 3 years. I am a Home Health Aide for CareLinx, and I provide health care services in patients residences, perform domestic and household tasks, transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital, administer simple prescribed medications, assist with clients personal care activities, and general health care needs. I live inAnniston, Al and love walking, yoga, and reading when I am free. I am currently in college obtaining my Bachelor of Science in psychology at Liberty University. I use to be a CNA. I love working with and being around the elderly. Some of us from our church goes to the Nursing Home once a month and have service and fellowship with the residents. I am over the Nursing Home Ministry and I enjoy it. I have a passion for helping others.

My mother is 86 years old, she is a 13-year cancer survivor, she battles COPD, she has had many surgeries, that has required her children which includes me to change bandages, at one time she required a colostomy bag that had to be changed, and many trips to ER department for different types of emergencies. I am a conscientious person, I like to have things in order in case of emergencies, this way I would not have to be searching for things that are needed immediately. I am dependable and honest. I have worked with children who are in foster care for over a year, many times my heart hurts for the children who are in situations that they can't help. The children did not ask for the things that are happening to them, and just like the elderly, they are weak and vulnerable in many situations. I want to try and help make a small difference in someone's life. Being a caregiver, the most enjoyable thing to me would be to see someone in my care smile, laugh, or just enjoy the day. To see them not have to worry for at least one day. My personal achievement that I am so proud of is that I'm 60 years old, however, in 2017 I finished college with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. I have always regretted not finishing school, I received my GED in 2005. This makes me proud of who I am, and to know that I did it without having to be told to, I did it because I wanted to do this for myself.

I am a caring and compassionate nurse aide, very friendly and out going . I am cpr certified and have had a my tb shot. I've worked in several nursing homes, memory care units to total dependent patients. Alongside of being a Home Heath cna. I'm a certified nursing Assistant and have been for 3 years now I comepleted a 6 month course. I'm a quick learner and very easy to adapt to new changes. I'm very understanding and patient. In my 3 years of being a cna I have gained a lot of experience.

I love help people .and help family so they have there love on by them .i like help people in my life. And doing for others so much this .this why i got in to this work

Becoming a caregiver is something that comes naturally as we care for our elders at our early age in my Mother Land which is Africa. What I love about being a caregiver is the smile that I bring to my patients and the relieve that I bring to their families for I tell them that I care. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that for me is not that I consider it as a job but instead I feel like I'm taking care of God's children . That why for me it's my Ministry. I'm 54 years old, I'm married to my husband for 34 years. I'm a mother of 2 boys and grandmother of 8.

What attracted me, was my grandmother. She was always such an on the person, that when she was diagnosed with leukemia, everything came to a halt. Then, shortly after, she had a stoke, and she had to have constant care. What i enjoy most about caring after people is the company I offer. The way i make them feel, makes me feel great. I became a careviver because I truly enjoy taking care of people and helping them. I have worked as a cna caregiver for over ten years I would not be happy doing anything else.
