Because I'm into the person not only into my work, I really love being creative meaning always finding was to use arts ,crafts, puzzles plus I'm alert concerning the needs of the person I'm a great listener I always remember this saying treat people the way you would like to be treated and it will come back to you. I enjoy having conversation with different people because I'm very teachable plus I've been told I'm the best caregiver the company had this isn't just a job for me its relationships being build with the individuals that I meet I haven't met a client that was dissatisfied with my work yet and I've been doing this for while and I love it. Yes you have challenging clients but the first this I would say is that I'm sorry that your feeling this way today what can we do to make this a better day and if this doesn't work I'll get a book of there choice or a puzzle I will try all I know to get though until something work I'm a person that study peoples action, body language and moods so I will know when something isn't right things I've achieved is knowing that I give my all in taking care of a life that is entrusted in my hands and I don't take that for granted you never know someone might have to take care of me. In closing I will always be the best at what I do and that's giving the best care to the client that they need.

I am enthusiastic and enjoy working with the elderly. I am a loyal and faithful companion. I was first attracted to caring for the elderly through my grandmother who simply needed someone to understand. I have taken care of my grandmother my mother and many elderly since then. What I enjoy most about caring for the elderly his to give them a reason to smile, laugh and be happy in their own environment and being their own selves. Some of my personal achievements that I am extremely proud of was a dementia patient who no longer enjoyed painting and with my enthusiastic caring she started painting again. Another elderly lady with Alzheimer's who had forgotten that she loved the outdoors and to walk for exercise. We started sitting on her front porch enjoying the birds and butterfly's and walking down the road for exercise. She even challenged me to a race, LOL. Then another was afraid to take the escalator, she was afraid she would fall. With no other way out, I helped her walk right onto it with no trouble. There was a gentleman that had not fed himself in many years, with my encouragement he was eating by himself again with no assistance. These are just a few of the accomplishments with the elderly that I am thankful that I was able to Help with and Witness.

Well i want to become a caregiver because i love people i am a people person and i have had older grandparents and an older parent i know theres nothing like having compassion for an elderly person and treating them with the up most care i look at it like this the elderly have feelings too and if that was my parents or grandparents what kind of care would i like them to have . When i was caring for my grandmother it took alot of patients and time to get her use to someone doing things for her because she was so use to doing everything on her own. my grandmother sufferred with alheimers, dimentia and took alot to get her to understand that she needed someone to help care for her. i enjoyed that feeling that i was accomplishing something and it kept a smile on her face to know that she had someone there to love her and take care of her. I am a very patient caring person i love people ,I am a very friendly and loving individual, outgoing.

To be a good caregiver you have to be passionate, loyal and caring. You can't go into the healthcare field and think that all person needs are the same because it's not. You have to be flexible to the needs of others. Why I became a CNA I just love caring for others, to know at the end of the day that I was able to help someone that may have read the newspaper for 30 plus year's, but there health may not allow them to see very well or just someone to go get there newspaper. In life its the little things that count. And i just love being apart of the things we sometimes take for granted. .

It satisfy me helping someone in need. Listen, talk of what ever the patient wants to talk about. Help in their chores, errands, appointments, etc. I have a big respect for elderly people.

I love working with people, I became a caregiving because I alway want to help people that need help, that not able to help themselves in their daily life. I am a caring person. I love doing my job. I been care for people over 10 year now. I am a certify Cna. Since 2009. I been in Jacksonville area over six year now. I been caring for clients and help them with there need, and I love my job.

When I was younger I took care of my granny then my grandma when she got sick. I've had such a passion for helping ones who've once helped us. The amount of gratitude that comes from the eyes of the helped ones fuels the love and compassion I've always had even as a child. I become the loved one trying to achieve their goals. I also have the same goals, their struggle is my strength and my will and desire to help even more. I am a strong willing worker. I strive to make my work an accomplishment. Im a very quick learner. I look for patterns and common likes and dislikes, little things that make their day go by easier. I worked hard at a nursing home that trained me in hospice , memory care , the rehab facility as well as assisted living( resident aid , med cart showdeowee ). left there to care for one gentalman in sarasota ( live-in caregiver ) I became family. He passed recently and ive taken it really hard ive bounced from job to job ( caregiving- private care -friends of friends ) not becasue I couldn't do it anymore it just was hard to think I wasnt working for him anymore. I have recollected my self and became an even better person /caregiver/ companion. The amount of love behind every ( client, family member , loved ones ) fuels me. I have a humongous heart. I've become experienced in every day to day living. Over night care , lifting , bathing , housekeeping, errands as well as medicine administrations. I have a very strong will to work and not leave till the job is 100% complete. I'm a very loyal , dedicated worked. I become family.

i became a nursing assistant because i enjoy helping people i was raised by my great aunt who died last year at 100 so she was in her 80's raising me. I enjoy the talks and the stories that they give me the lessons that i learn from them it lifts my spirit and i am good at what i do as a Certified Nursing Assistant only because I LOVE what i do!!!!

When I was taking care of my grandmother, I loved the way we talked about her life story. Taking walks with her. Caregivers go shopping with clients and going out to eat with with. I just love listening to them talk. I just love what I do. Its a privilege to walk in and give them a smile on their face.
