I have a passion for caregiving. Your family is my family. I started caregiving back in 2013 when my grandmother became terminally I'll from bone cancer. At the young age of 19 I had to quit my job at Walmart to care for her along side the help of the hospice nurse. When she passed all the things I learned stuck with me. At that point I knew then it was something I was meant to do, to help other families that may be going thru the same. I've very loving, compassionate and understanding of any and all situations. I'm going to do my absolute best to make everyday a pleasant experience with your family member no matter how hard it may become. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is knowing I am an able and willing servant of the Lord who doesn't mind helping my fellow people live out the best possible life I can help them live. It gives me great honor just knowing I do my best in helping others in anyway possible. I have always been told how great of a worker I am families often times want to hire me for personal home health care after seeing my passion. I love caring for others .

I started my nursing career at 22 years old. I was a kid when I started, but I was a kid with a different type of soul and I knew it. It was almost scary being that age and full of love and knowledge. Let's be honest, most kids at that age are having the time of their life. I had fun too, but it was reading and educating myself. That was my fun. I think having a sick sibling at a young age is what drew me into nursing. I was about 13 when my sister was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy. Interesting enough, I would read and learn more about her disease than she did. I stuck with me. I have been a nurse a total of 22 years.

I am very loving and caring. I love to care for ones in need. It is my pleasure to help, build a relationship and make them comfortable. The ability to be there in a time of need is so important and motivating to me.

I became a caregiver because I love peoples and I like taking care of people. I like listening to clients helping them with there bathing reading to them taking them on walks if they are wheelchair bound just being there for them. One personal Achievement that I have acquired is I was able to fulfilled a wish for my son grandmother she had terminal cancer and did not want to be in a nursing home and I moved out of my home and took care of her until she passed. I am 55 years old have been a cna for over 30 years I have two children five grandchildren and I am in school I want to be a social worker married for sixteen year. I will have my AA this semester and will start school in the fall for my bachelor's degree .

I became a caregiver because I extremely enjoy helping others. I take a lot of pride in the work I do. I enjoy helping people who are no longer to care for themselves or have no family who can help. I have been in this field for a very long time. I have recently picked up sign language again and have mastered a good bit of the language and I am able to use what I know to communicate with a wonderful gentleman. All my kids are grown and I have a lot of time to helping others who may need it. I currently help out a 95 yr old gentleman and my own beautiful grandmother. I try to treat others the way I want my own grandmother treated.

One of my best personality traits is my smile. My smile can make a dim room turn bright. My patients are at a low point in their life and I enjoy to the best of my ability turning their frown up side down. I care for each and every patient as if they were my own grandmother, mom,dad sister and brother. I enjoy having fun with my patients whether I am cooking for them , playing fun games with them or simply enjoying the outdoors.
