Or if they were your loved one! Let them know that you can be trusted. Keep them safe and their home safe from falls. Wash their face, comb their hair, brush their teeth, etc....make them feel good and refreshed! Respect their religion and ask questions! Listen to them and pay attention to what they are telling you. Respect them and their home! I love helping others that have a hard time helping themselves. It's rewarding to me and it comes from my HEART! I have helped my whole family who have passed in their home with cancer, heart problems, Parkinson's disease, and not one went to a nursing home! This is why I became a CNA! Hi my name is Michelle I have been in the nursing field since 1998. In 1998 I became a CNA in 2005 I received my CMA . In 2012 I went on to become a X-ray medical technician. Home health has always been my favorite line of work because working one on one gives the opportunity to build a relationship and give quality care you can't always provide in a facility.
