I have over 20 years experience over a variety of different Healthcare situations. At this time, I prefer to work one- on- one with my clients to assist with daily living skills, medications, meal planning, cleaning, personal cares, and other tasks as needed. I am extremely passionate about my care and I am very detail oriented, I have been through many different challenging situations throughout my years professionally, and can adapt very well to my surroundings effectively and efficiently. I worked as a CNA for 16 yrs (3 years as a PCW) until I went back to school for my associates in Medical Administration. I went into the field as I love taking care of others. I find it to be very rewarding, like no other career. Helping others with daily life skills, no matter what it is, brings joy to my life. Knowing I make a difference feels good. I am very professional as I have worked in the field for such a long time. I am sensitive to a person's needs as well. It is very important to me to that the client/patient is taken care of as well. At some point in our lives we all will require help. It is so important that we remember this as we care for another in need. I am looking to work the overnight shift 2-3 nights per week or 5-6 shifts in a 2-week pay period. I am available to work between 7p-9a. I am also willing to work longer shifts up to 15 hours per shift. I would like to stay around 30 per week as I am enrolled in an online Medical Transcription course presently.

I became a caregiver after helping my dad through his battle with cancer when I was just a teenager. I am a single mother of three children. I love reading, music, arts and crafts. I feel I sympathize with the elderly more so than the younger population, specializing in dementia and memory care. I look way younger than I am, I am somewhat shy but once I get to know a person we are friends forever.
