I am a very passionate, dedicated, and committed to delivering selfless, purpose-driven service. I believe in servant leadership and making sound decisions in the absence of direction. I want family members to feel like I am an extension of their family, someone they can rely on when most necessary. I was attracted to caregiving by the reward that comes from helping others. Seeing people that were in need for care, when family members simply don't have time, money, or emotional longevity that is required in long-term assisted living and care. I am very proud of raising my two teenage daughters as a single mother, while working multiple jobs. It was very difficult, but highly rewarding seeing them grow, and exhibiting the same work ethic and love I try to possess.

I became interested in caregiving when I first worked in a nursing home doing housekeeping. I saw how nurses neglected the residents and hated it! I became more interested when I was given the opportunity to care for a man who couldn't be mobile due to robbers beating him up.. I made his meals, did his laundry, houeswork, and fed his dog. I also gave him piece of mind enough to sleep. For the first time in months, he slept a full twelve hours in bed (he'd been sleeping in a chair). These simple things mean a lot to someone who can't do them anymore. I'm dependable, trustworthy, patient and, also a mom which means, taking care of others comes naturally..

I would say I am extremely Compassionate. I have deep empathy for others. I have a Strong love to help others but i know my limitations. What made me want to become a caregiver was helping my mom due to her illness I have had to learn to take care of someone who once took care of me and it has taught me so much and given me a outlet to be compassionate. What i enjoy most about caregiver is relieving the stress of daily tasks that they struggle with. a personal achievement i am proud of is completing Collage while having a new born

I love helping people in need, regardless of how little or big the issue. I have been a Caregiver since the age of 10 when I started babysitting. I am patient, caring, a good listener, compassionate and just enjoy helping people live an easier life. I enjoy the company of the senior generation, I think they deserve to live a happy, healthy, easier life as they get older, they have earned that privilege and I will do whatever it takes for them to live independently for as long as they are able. I have a good personality I show no judgment I think what makes me a good caregiver is that I really truly do care and my patience are going through enough obviously that at the end of the day and their happiness and they're once that's what matters I really enjoy, putting a smile on my patients face and not making them feel ashamed about anything and it's also important to make a good relationship with your patient as a caregiver as well.

I believe I'm a great caregiver because I care from the heart not the pay. The first thing that attracted me to being a caregiver was the fact that I just fell in love with the at home setting of caregiver. Growing up I always heard about people who have put the family away in a "home" when they reach their senior years, but my first interview , it was the total opposite.I worked in a house that had 6 residents, and it was theor home, they were like all room mates in a sense and I had never seen anything like it up until that day. And from then on I wanted to be a part of everything that goes along with caregiving.
