I am deaf with cochlear implant, uses ASL (American Sign Language) and English. I am a college student attending HCC, I went to WSU Tech for 3 1/2 years and just now recently transferred to HCC. and I have a part time job where I work at is my favorite place to work and loving it everyday. I am very determined, honesty, team player, compassion, caring and loving the people I take care. I am friendly and always willing to cooperate with anything and are willing to work things out if it gets in the way. I am willing to work with the schedule way around it. I am a CNA and CMA at my job for almost 7 months now and I am certified CNA and CMA for a year now. I do have 3 certification is CNA, CMA, and Phlebotomist Tech. I am working on getting HHA certification then two degrees of Nursing; LPN and RN. Being a caregiver is my passion because I love taking care of people and give them the best care that they do deserve it! I enjoy go over and see them, checking in, help with anything they needed! I would DO ANYTHING to put a beautiful smile on their face. I love to cheer them up and make sure they are having a good day with a big smile on the face! My personal achievement I am proud of is that I have overcome ALOT of things in my life right now also with a bad childhood growing up but still fought through it! I am first high school graduate and first attending in college. I am a honor roll student throughout the years of high school and college. I have 3 certifications in medical field! My dream is to own a nursing home for Deaf & Hard of Hearing residents with D/HH workers that are able to uses sign language and make the environment comfortable and easier for each other!

I have always enjoyed helping people out no matter what the cause may be. I am a very passionate, dedicated, and committed to delivering selfless, purpose-driven service. I believe in servant leadership and making sound decisions in the absence of direction. I want family members to feel like I am an extension of their family, someone they can rely on when most necessary. I was attracted to caregiving by the reward that comes from helping others. Seeing people that were in need for care, when family members simply don't have time, money, or emotional longevity that is required in long-term assisted living and care. I am very proud of raising my two teenage daughters as a single mother, while working multiple jobs. It was very difficult, but highly rewarding seeing them grow, and exhibiting the same work ethic and love I try to possess.

I would say I am extremely Compassionate. I have deep empathy for others. I have a Strong love to help others but i know my limitations. What made me want to become a caregiver was helping my mom due to her illness I have had to learn to take care of someone who once took care of me and it has taught me so much and given me a outlet to be compassionate. I love helping people in need, regardless of how little or big the issue. I have been a Caregiver since the age of 10 when I started babysitting. I am patient, caring, a good listener, compassionate and just enjoy helping people live an easier life. I enjoy the company of the senior generation, I think they deserve to live a happy, healthy, easier life as they get older, they have earned that privilege and I will do whatever it takes for them to live independently for as long as they are able. Hello, I am a full time student majoring in Nursing, and I have always had a passion for working with elderly patients! I have worked with caregiving agencies and in home private families as well. I am very patient, social and loving helping people. What attracted me to caregiving is seeing that if one is given a little bit MORE attention that they can sometimes display a change of behavior .

I've been a nurses aide since I was 16 almost everyone in my family is either a nurses or in the health care field, I love what I do and have a blast helping others and making them feel loved and acknowledged. I love to smile and make others smile . My job means the most to me . I've achieved a lot as an aide but my happiest moments are making someone smile that hasn't in a long time .

I have a good personality I show no judgment I think what makes me a good caregiver is that I really truly do care and my patience are going through enough obviously that at the end of the day and their happiness and they're once that's what matters I really enjoy, putting a smile on my patients face and not making them feel ashamed about anything and it's also important to make a good relationship with your patient as a caregiver as well.
