I enjoy knowing that I help make a persons life a little easier.I helped take care of my grandmother and I remember how she would smile when we would just sit and talk or do puzzles just spending time together.Family is great and I always treat my patients like they are family.I like to see each patient enjoy their life to the very best of there ability.I have great references and I really enjoy my job and the clients I work with too.

i am very passionate,attentive,outgoing,and I enjoy helping others.My grandmother has dementia and alzheimer. I started helping taking care of her and realized that I enjoyed being a friendly face for her on a daily. That I am able to understand different people and their struggles but I can help them be able to still enjoy life and smile. What makes me a good caregiver is my personality and my work ethic. I am likely to find things to do to keep myself busy and keep my client busy with things they are able to do. I have worked with people with all ranges of abilities and I can easily adapt to new situations. I tend to find the silver lining in situations and my clients like that I am just an overall happy person. I know when to encourage and when to back off as to not exhaust my clients when they are trying to complete an activity. I like having open communication with family members so they can stay up to date on their loved one's progress.

I am proud to say I'm currently working as needed as a certified caregiver, with over 35 years of experience. I also worked in a hospital setting for 25 years. I love caring for people while they gain their independence in daily living.
