I graduated with a nursing diploma over 20 years ago, and have been taking care of a wide arrange of senior citizens for 11 years in Chicagoland area. My most experience is live-in and live-out senior care of elderly with diabetes, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. I am dependable and flexible provider of physical and emotional care to the elderly. I starting working as a caregiver over 7 years ago, when my mother got ill. At that time I was a deer in headlights. Since then, I decided to pay it forward, and help ease the pain other families were going through. I've become close with the families that trusted me to care for their parents. I am very patient and gentle,I always adapt to new situation and condition. I am not a perfect being but I love to learn and I accept corrections . I am humble, respectful and trustworthy. Single mom of a teenager Started caregiving 6 years ago The people I have met has made me a stronger person and I love what I do, love the variety of people I have met , but in this job you have to be very patient and know how to deal with a lot of challenges and behaviors, are jobs aren't easy and you have to deal with stressful situations and know how to deal with them , every year we have to take are annual Training and refresher courses, my main specialty is Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, but that's why I love my job to help people and sometimes they need to someone to talk too, or just a shoulder to cry on, being a single parent makes me stronger in doing my job and know I have someone to live for and help older clients in there daily lives and endeavors.

It only takes a special caregiver to take a good care of your loved ones and I am that kind of caretaker who do it to the level best!
