Single mom of a teenager Started caregiving 6 years ago The people I have met has made me a stronger person and I love what I do, love the variety of people I have met , but in this job you have to be very patient and know how to deal with a lot of challenges and behaviors, are jobs aren't easy and you have to deal with stressful situations and know how to deal with them , every year we have to take are annual Training and refresher courses, my main specialty is Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, but that's why I love my job to help people and sometimes they need to someone to talk too, or just a shoulder to cry on, being a single parent makes me stronger in doing my job and know I have someone to live for and help older clients in there daily lives and endeavors.

I went to school to be a CNA, and I really love doing a caring the elderly.

I have a been a personal caregiver for over 18years I started out working as a Cna in nursing home and I thoroughly enjoy and love the helping others out.
