I am a mother and I believe I did a great job with my children when they were babies. I loved being a mother. I have worked in the Caregiving field and have about 4-5 years of experience. I am a married and we're just living the family life. We love to go on car rides together, sightseeing, Love connecting with nature, Venturing to new places, Camping, and Fishing. Someday, I would love to travel.

I took care of both of my parents. I love being around their wisdom. They think i'm funny and fun to be with. I would rather be around older people. Aways have since I was little. Hello! My name is Lori. I am a mother of 4 (almost grown) children, and a daughter of one elderly parent. I have been a Physical Therapist Asst. for 29 years. My mother suddenly passed in 2017. My father has severe dementia, and in her absence, there existed a need for someone to care for him. I fulfilled this role for some time, until the inevitable, appropriate time came for me to return to my family and life back here in Missouri. I personally experienced the process of seeking a suitable caregiver for my father, to help maintain the lifestyle that he had always known. I didn't think that it should be difficult to find this person (people). But, it was, especially in a small rural KS town, considering the financial resources available. I discovered a passion for in-home caregiving. I have been blessed to be able to continue caregiving since that time, and have worked with several wonderful families. I am reliable, competent and compassionate. It is my desire to continue caring for those in need.

A few months ago I started as a caregiver for a company called A Helping Hands in home care, I met so many wonderful clients through A Helping Hands, that bonded really well with me, that it's only made me want to further my education in Health and medicine.
