What makes me a good caregiver is that I am caring, compassionate, honest, dependable. I have always had a passion for taking care of people. I enjoy seeing people happy and healthy. I am proud that I assisted one of my clients with achieving her health goal of getting off insulin. I have been doing homecare for over 15 years. I also have four years experience in a manager position. I also have hoyer lift and end of life experience.

I am a very passionate when it comes to helping others and health in general. I can understand others feelings from their perspective. I'm very attentive and dependable as well. I was attracted to caregiving because of my nurturing personality. I also have family who's been doing some sort of healthcare since I was young. I enjoy being able to make others feel good as it makes me feel good as well. Working with people where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I like doing a variety of tasks in a day. I'm proud of the fact that I also help with caring for my Grandfather with Alzheimer's.

I am a very loving and caring person I love taking care of the elderly. I been a nursing assistant since I was 18 yrs old never wanted to really do anything else but take care of people. I like getting to no them about there families. I like to make them smile comfort them the best I no how. When I go home at the end of the day I no I have done a good job and every job I have work everyone love how I work and how I communicate with the residents.

I choose to be in this Field for many reasons, the Major one is because I have the heart and patients to take care of someone who is struggling. It makes me feel happy when I know there taken care of and still feel valuable to life. I love talking, I'll play cards or watch movies or go out and do activities with my patients. I'll treat them with care and love as if they were a family member of my own. I get along well with dogs (cats are negotiable) but, prefer a non-smoking home as I am a non smoker. I've been gainfully employed (by someone who found me on a similar website) for more than a year. Available for up to 12 hrs/day Mon-Fri, every other weekend. I am fully vaccinated, I can provide proof of residency/citizenship, complete work history, current professional/personal references. For my graduate degree I majored in Social Work and Gerontology because I wanted to learn how to serve people better.. In order to paid for my education I worked as a care giver. I loved caring for people and learned so much from the monthly training conducted by professionals in the health care field. When I did my first internships at a center for seniors. I had such a great time working with members of the elderly population that I decided to continue working in that area. I mostly enjoy caring for others, giving back to those who served others in many ways during their younger years or when they were physically capable to do so.
