I became a caregiver because I feel like everyone deserves to be happy. I became a caregiver because I take pride in uplifting and inspiring other's while keeping myself positive and afloat to recycle love in a community. A personal achievement I accomplished was to actually be able to tell my own mother no she can't smoke as I care for her cause she had 2 strokes and not feel bad about it because I know it's not good for her health. So while redirecting the consumers and giving them great advice on health issues comes from within.

I am dependable, optimistic and like helping people. I am a Massage Therapist and have always been drawn to helping people heal with touch therapy. The 20 years I have been a massage therapist I have been able to help people with so many ailments and keep them from having to have surgery or stay on pain medication. I was asked by a friend in the last year to help her when she found out she had Brain Cancer. I didn't expect that I would learn so much and feel like I had a purpose like I did. The journey that we took for the last 6 months was very special and I am proud that I had the chance to be there every step of the way right next to her and make a difference. In addition to being a very empathetic person, I'm also very patient with the people in my life. I understand that the people I provide care for are on a difficult and at times, emotionally stressful journey. I pride myself in keeping to a consistent work schedule because I understand that my clients depend on me for assistance. I'm also adaptable to client emergencies or changes to schedules. Answer to the question, what am I most proud of??? I have to say its my boys.. I got to bring up two amazing fabulous sons to being productive independent men, while working as a single mom. They make me proud.
