Maintaining privacy for client. I became a care provider because when I worked in a nursing home as a server, their was a elderly women that was sick i felt the need to help her. I was told I could not help because I was not a caregiver. I helped her on my break; she thank me the next day.I put my two weeks in and applied as a care provider.It makes me happy then I can help residents with there activities of daily living; providing mental and physical stimulation.

I really enjoy it when I notice that I have made a positive impact on the life of my client; I can remember being called God sent by the wife of one of my clients; the gentleman returned home after spending months at the hospital and rehab, he lost his ability to walk and speak. after I was called in as a caregiver, he regained his mobility and speech because we had to engage with him not just as a client but as a loved one...

The skills and experience I have as a caregiver makes me do my job with confidence. I like helping people in need and that made me have the interest of being a caregiver. I enjoy when I see my clients trust me and feels safe. Clients activities of daily living and achieving their goals.
