I worked for 25 years as a special education teacher and now I am an online skills instructor. I did daycare for a majority of my late teenage years and into early adults years before I then moved to working with adults with disabilities. Graduate of Elementary Education in phils. since my goal wanted to help my family I working overseas in Taiwan and Middle east as a caregiver or caretaker. Working for 10 years abroad to takingcare different types of families and nationality such as; arabic,chinese,american & british family...It feels amazing how wonderful helping them as like my own family. It gives me more confident, learning more how to communicate, meeting more new friends, i adopt their culture for everyday serving them and caring especialy kids and elderly. I love being given a chance to help people on a daily basis is so rewarding. Showing a person that you have their back, and they can put trust in you to do all the correct things. God want us to love, and help one another. I became a CNA to give more training so I can help others better. Scene changes in a person by helping a person on a daily basis that couldn't do it on their own it's rewarding by seeing how happy they are.

Hello! My name is Apolonia and I am currently working fulltime as a CNA at Clearview in Juneau, WI. I started the nursing assistant program back in 2009 in my senior year of high school and became certified in 2010 shortly after my son was born. However, my first job working with elderly was as an activity aide for the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center in Waupun. I really enjoyed being able to get the residents out of their rooms to share laughs, reminisce about the good old days, and to just be there for them when they needed someone to talk to. After a year, I decided that I wanted to pursue working as a nursing assistant, so I obtained a position with Century Oaks Assisted Living Center in Oshkosh. Yes, it was a long commute from Waupun everyday, but I absolutely loved it. I started when the second building opened, so not only was I a new cna but I was working in an environment that was entirely brand new and we all grew together. We had an amazing team of people and it never felt like going to work. We just became like family. In 2014, the company was bought out by Capital Senior Living and I stayed working for about a year and then decided it was time to take the next step. So I applied to Clearview because it was closer to home and I now have a more consistent routine for my son. I plan to stay working for Clearview fulltime, but I am looking to take on a possible part time, temporary position or even be on call certain days. Either way, I am definitely looking forward to caring for your loved one!
