Elderly are super important to me and need to be loved. I love knowing I can help a family in need when I know how tough it is to care for a parent or family member when you have your own life to live as well, I enjoy it and it could be a good career. It's rough sometimes, and I miss who I've cared for but it is the circle of life. Dementia Alzheimers med giving Bed bound patients Bed baths med giving feeding. Gtube feeding switching out bags and adminstiring pills through gtube. Companionship weekly I'd buy lunch and we'd play games puzzles etc walks outside or simply staying in watching the news. I have given insulin for diabetics also checking blood sugar catheter changes and new ones! I am very qualifed for many positions. I was also a personal assistant as well, computer work, errands, work emails business calls.

Graduate of Elementary Education in phils. since my goal wanted to help my family I working overseas in Taiwan and Middle east as a caregiver or caretaker. Working for 10 years abroad to takingcare different types of families and nationality such as; arabic,chinese,american & british family...It feels amazing how wonderful helping them as like my own family. It gives me more confident, learning more how to communicate, meeting more new friends, i adopt their culture for everyday serving them and caring especialy kids and elderly. I love being given a chance to help people on a daily basis is so rewarding. Showing a person that you have their back, and they can put trust in you to do all the correct things. God want us to love, and help one another. I became a CNA to give more training so I can help others better. Hello! My name is Apolonia and I am currently working fulltime as a CNA at Clearview in Juneau, WI. I started the nursing assistant program back in 2009 in my senior year of high school and became certified in 2010 shortly after my son was born. However, my first job working with elderly was as an activity aide for the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center in Waupun. I really enjoyed being able to get the residents out of their rooms to share laughs, reminisce about the good old days, and to just be there for them when they needed someone to talk to. After a year, I decided that I wanted to pursue working as a nursing assistant, so I obtained a position with Century Oaks Assisted Living Center in Oshkosh. Yes, it was a long commute from Waupun everyday, but I absolutely loved it. I started when the second building opened, so not only was I a new cna but I was working in an environment that was entirely brand new and we all grew together. We had an amazing team of people and it never felt like going to work. We just became like family. In 2014, the company was bought out by Capital Senior Living and I stayed working for about a year and then decided it was time to take the next step. So I applied to Clearview because it was closer to home and I now have a more consistent routine for my son. I plan to stay working for Clearview fulltime, but I am looking to take on a possible part time, temporary position or even be on call certain days. Either way, I am definitely looking forward to caring for your loved one!

I am a very caring, patient, and responsible caregiver. One of my biggest passions is helping others. From the time I started working as a CNA to now I have loved every part of it. This type of work is so rewarding. Getting to know the residents and learning more about them is one of the best parts of this job.

I enjoy helping people maintain their lives in their homes as long as possible and enjoy their hobbies. Often I can suggest things they may enjoy doing – puzzles, knitting, playing cards etc. I'm empathetic, good humored, prompt and reliable. Preparing good nutritious food is one of my pleasures. I can incorporate favorite foods and portioning for later consumption as well. Helping with correspondence to friends and family is something my clients have liked too. I treat my clints the way I would like to be treated and respect their way of doing things.

I enjoy being a caregiver for the benefits. I never thought I would be in the healthcare field, but after my first CBRF job I fell in love with it. I look forward to seeing people that are thriving partially because of my actions and I have learned so much. My most rewarding healthcare moment is getting someone who was "100% impossible" to start enjoying life again.
