I believe in delivering quality of life for seniors and clients of any age! Showing compassion through sincere listening and being present for the clients I care for is a top priority. Through home visits with various agencies, live-in care, and working with an Assisted Living Center my combined services to the elderly have helped me thrive in the industry of caring. In the realm of younger folks, I drove a school bus for years and taught home schooled children including my own. I taught a class on self-empowerment based on the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series too. The classes I taught were an eye-opener and perhaps opened the door to a new way of viewing life. The life experiences I've had with Seniors who have become family to me and ultimately my friends has given me much more than I could have possibly conceived of giving to them! I found that with kids, being present and seeing the beautiful gifts they have inside always brought those gifts out with the acknowledgement. The services I've provided are most assuredly a soul's calling! Senior care and working with younger folks has been a perfect fit with my desire to make a difference with others, and the kind of career I totally enjoy! I have a knack for understanding human nature and the needs of the heart and naturally, I learned this through my own life experiences. We all are truly one when it comes to matters of the heart and what this life means! Applying the knowledge of our oneness is what the care of others is all about. I'm seeing my own reflection in the hearts of those that I serve in this type of work. From that seeing, I give the best of who I am to others! Importantlly too is the fact that I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have over 20 years experience caring for Seniors.

My name is Abiola but you can call me Abi. I've been doing care giving job for over two years now. I am a terrific caregiver simply because caring for the Seniors is my PASSION! I love the job! I love the sense of fulfillment I get in sharing the evening season of their life with them, the opportunity to show them love/care,the priviledge of being part of that beautiful last phase of memories in their life and ofcourse my ability to be "Patient" makes the job easy for me because that's simply what almost all Seniors need when dealing with them.

What helps me be a great caregiver is I put all my force into the person I'm caring for to make sure their comfortable. What I enjoy most about being able to be a caregiver is putting a smile on someone's fast and knowing that my job is a blessing for those in need of extra help in their every day lives. A personal achievement I'm proud of is knowing I can turn someone's day around just by communicating with them or doing the little things that matter to them .

I like to help people who doesn't have the ability to help themselves. When I see the elders I am picturing my mother. I like giving them care, I also like to see them going to the next level while I'm with them. I'm a married woman I have four children and two grandchildren.

I enjoy helping people, communication, cooking and traveling, driving. I'm a patient person so if you are challenged getting around it doesn't bother me. Sewing, and crafting, gardening are my hobbies. I'm a mother of three and grandmother of three.

I began care-giving by assisting my grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Caring for my grandmother has opened my heart with a compassion to care for others.Since becoming a C.N.A, I have cared for seniors with the following conditions: Alzheimer’s disease, Stroke, Paraplegics, Cancer, feeding tubes, Catheter, Diabetes, Hospice, Parkinson’s and knee replacement. Working with seniors has given me the greatest pleasure and developing my compassionate skills is one of my greatest accomplishment.

I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .

Because I really care for people I feel I can really help this way. What I really like about it is like you can express to them how you really feel about what you do and how you care for them.
