I have previous work experience in a Nursing home as a CNA, taking care of many different needs. Bathing, grooming, toilet care, mobility care, feeding etc. Also worked at Dungarvin in home care with four residents. There my responsibilities were, toileting, Bathing, grooming, preparing meals, passing out meds. I feel I am a very compassionate and honest person. I love listening to the stories each individual brings.

I love working with elderly and help them and make sure they get to there doctor appointments grocery shopping and remind them to take there medications and help them prep food for them and help them with some chores around the house and make sure they have clean clothes and i enjoy helping elderly people out i helped my grandmother for 15 years of my life

I know this sounds lame, but I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. I love the rewarding feeling I get from giving. Now, when I was a kid that was another story. I carried all of my toys in a brown grocery bag and you would have to fight me to get me to share! I love listening and learning from others. I feel that this has only improved my caregiving skills. I have worked with all ages, races, religions, disabilities and I treat each person the same. We all deserve dignity and respect regardless of our situation. I'm kind, but love to laugh and have a good time. Most importantly I know how to act appropriate for the situation. I believe an achievement that I can truly be proud of everyday is that I have the ability to take life as it comes and always put things into perspective. I hold my family close to my heart. Hello, my name is Stella I am 17 years old and am entering my senior year in highschool ! From a young age i've always loved to take care of others and have always been very empathetic. I started my first job at a local nursing home as a culinary server, I wanted to eventually pursue my CNA license as soon as I turned 16 which I did. I fell in love with the environment and felt the need to make an impact in others lives. I have made so many wonderful memories already that I will cherish for the rest of my life working in assisted living/ LTC. The most fulfilling thing about my job is giving residents the feeling of being at home and taken care of. I think the biggest achievement i've had so far was when I had connected with this resident that is really picky and tedious with who does their cares. I couldn't say i've ever had a bad interaction with any one i've taken care of, for which they have entitlement to their own feelings and it's really a trait of mine to bring others up if they're having a bad day or whichever the cause may be. I've found patience is the most vital thing in this job, even when you don't have the time. Taking time to understand somebody's needs and showing them you care goes such a long way.

I enjoy care giving. I have done this for 9 years... all daily cares.... vitals. And. Neuros. Blood sugars. Cleaning. Laundry. I really like when. The residents remember me and smile everytime I. I worked in assisted living for 6 months, and then went to the nursing home, where I am currently employed. I also did PCA work for a middle school aged boy with Downs Syndrome when I was in high school. I thoroughly enjoy taking care of people and knowing I can show them love and support any time they need it! Knowing that I can help impact someone's life is an amazing feeling!

I became a CNA because of personal experience with people taking care of my mom and how they were with her and our family was amazing. I've always wanted to be like they were to other families. I love getting to know all sorts of different people and hearing their stories. My biggest achievement when it comes to being a CNA is when family members come up to me and tell me how much they truly appreciate my help. I have been an aid now for just a little under three years and I have loved every minute of it.

My personality traits are, I'm very caring, I'm always listening, I have lots of patience, I'm reliable. I wanted to be a caregiver bc I love helping people who need the help. I wanna be able to make a difference in the world even if it starts with only a couple people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being there for the person.
