I have previous work experience in a Nursing home as a CNA, taking care of many different needs. Bathing, grooming, toilet care, mobility care, feeding etc. Also worked at Dungarvin in home care with four residents. There my responsibilities were, toileting, Bathing, grooming, preparing meals, passing out meds. I feel I am a very compassionate and honest person. I love listening to the stories each individual brings.

It makes me feel good taking care of others All of it, there story's and how happy they are, I'm proud of being able to help. And having them achieve their goals. I'm a 40 year old, married for 14 years I Have 3 kids and I like working with the elderly.

I know this sounds lame, but I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. I love the rewarding feeling I get from giving. Now, when I was a kid that was another story. I carried all of my toys in a brown grocery bag and you would have to fight me to get me to share! I love listening and learning from others. I feel that this has only improved my caregiving skills. I have worked with all ages, races, religions, disabilities and I treat each person the same. We all deserve dignity and respect regardless of our situation. I'm kind, but love to laugh and have a good time. Most importantly I know how to act appropriate for the situation. I believe an achievement that I can truly be proud of everyday is that I have the ability to take life as it comes and always put things into perspective. I hold my family close to my heart. I can provide a reciprocal relationship of professional care and companionship.

What makes me a great caregiver is making sure my client is happy at all times. I became a caregiver because I like helping people. I have experience in both a facility with helping with everyday ADLs for various ages from young children to hospice care. I also assisted with med pass and insulin injections. For 5 year I assisted my grandmother while she lived at home with severe mobility issues and near zero vision issues.
