I'm a great caregiver because I am very patient and a warm-hearted person, I always make sure my patient/resident is safe and that they are happy with their service. I started working as a caregiver really young at 15 with my great grandmother she was a diabetic and had Alzheimer's. After she passed away it made me realize that I loved my job and that I'd be a great caregiver. One of my personal biggest achievements was moving out of my parents house right after graduation into my own place.

I started my career as a caregiver 12 years ago. I started off with direct care specialists with just one client who had Alzheimer Disease. During my days with her, I was able to see life through her eyes and my passion for caregiving increased. Knowing that I'm helping others to live and feel normal part of society, gives me so much peace and joy! I became a care giver when my grandmother got severely ill at the age of 12. I took care of my sick grandmother for over 5 years before she passed away. That moment made me realize that there was nothing di could enjoy more than helping individuals get to better states in their lives. The satisfaction I see in my clients face during the time of care I provide is beyond any type of reward anyone can offer. I take pleasure in knowing that I have impacted someone’s life in a positive way. I am a certified nursing assistant also certified as a HHA and have my CPR and first aid. I am in my nursing program to be a nurse in a year or so. I have a great amount of knowledge about personal care and different methods and techniques that someone that doesn’t have my experience would have. I am very hard working.
