My personality trait is that I'm a very genuine person and I love people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to be there for someone's loved one when they can't. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the joy I can bring to not only the client but their family as well. My personal achievement that I am proud of is getting my Associates degree while being a mother and a wife.

Nice to meet you all! Caring for someone is like caring for my own family. My fun and positive attitude would help me be a great caregiver. Growing up I spent a lot of time caring for my own family members. My grandmother had Alzheimer's, stopped walking and had Diabetes.I was able to give her the love she always gave me when she was able to. I also had other family members I cared for as well. That is what really got me started. Watching her kids and loved ones not want to care for her got me there. Everyone deserves to be cared for properly and carefully. I love knowing that at the end of the day I made someone's day easier or better. I know it is hard on families at times. You want to be there but may not be able to. So for me I am the fill in, the one who is there to ensure you are cared for and needs are met. I also am a mother and had a premature child. I love being a mom and wife and someone people can count on and trust. In life I have seen someone people go with love or care and that is partly what drives me to do the stuff I do today. It got me into hair, cooking and caring for others. There aren't enough people who care or have compassion for others this day in age. I wouldn't want myself, children or loved ones to be unloved or cared for.

I am a great caregiver because I take pride in my work. I treat my clients as if they are my own when providing care and treatment. I chose to become a caregiver because I have a passion and desire to help and give back to others. Some of my personality traits that make me a great worker are having a lot of patience, knowing how to be kind and gentle, and knowing how to enpathize with my clients throughout their disease process. When providing care, I don't look at it as job. I actually enjoy my field of work and aim to better the quality of life. A personal achievement I am proud of is earning my RN degree and leaving a lasting impression on my clients. Hello. I have been a caregiver for 20 years.I love interacting with the elderly and learning things from them. I've always gone above and beyond when working. I love reading to them and singing or just going on walks. My clients are like my family, and I treat them as such. I've always made little simple treats for them and have them become involved with things.

I am a 28 yr old caregiver/medication technician I have been in this field for 7yrs. When I was little I loved making sure my grandmother and great grandmother was okay and I always helped them around the house. Hello my name is Kelly. I love working with Seniors. I went to Peace College in Raleigh, NC. I double majored in Business Administration and Leadership Studies. I worked at nursing home in Raleigh while in school through my leadership studies program. I was in charge of the activities program. I also did one on one interactions with Seniors, depending on the need. I really enjoyed getting to know them , listening to their stories as they are wise individuals. When I graduated college I worked in established family business since 1945. I did interior design and helped clients purchasing furniture. I preferred working with my senior clients as they were gracious and I enjoyed conversations with them. What I enjoy most is their gratitude and making them smile. Some seniors can be a little stubborn, it takes a while to develop their trust and helping them make decisions. Having patience and not giving up and seeing them come around is very rewarding. I have always been an old soul as I love old music. I love history. Especially 50's music.
