I am a great caregiver because I take pride in my work. I treat my clients as if they are my own when providing care and treatment. I chose to become a caregiver because I have a passion and desire to help and give back to others. Some of my personality traits that make me a great worker are having a lot of patience, knowing how to be kind and gentle, and knowing how to enpathize with my clients throughout their disease process. When providing care, I don't look at it as job. I actually enjoy my field of work and aim to better the quality of life. A personal achievement I am proud of is earning my RN degree and leaving a lasting impression on my clients. Hello. I have been a caregiver for 20 years.I love interacting with the elderly and learning things from them. I've always gone above and beyond when working. I love reading to them and singing or just going on walks. My clients are like my family, and I treat them as such. I am a 28 yr old caregiver/medication technician I have been in this field for 7yrs. Hello everyone my name is Keila and I've been doing caregiving for many years. I have my CNA as well but It all started when my grandpa got sick and could no longer care for himself. He had a feeding tube so I would have to puree his food as well as crush his medication and put it through the tube. I would do bed exercises with him and bed bathe him. Hello my name is Kelly. I love working with Seniors. I went to Peace College in Raleigh, NC. I double majored in Business Administration and Leadership Studies. I worked at nursing home in Raleigh while in school through my leadership studies program. I was in charge of the activities program. I also did one on one interactions with Seniors, depending on the need. I really enjoyed getting to know them , listening to their stories as they are wise individuals. When I graduated college I worked in established family business since 1945. I did interior design and helped clients purchasing furniture. I preferred working with my senior clients as they were gracious and I enjoyed conversations with them. What I enjoy most is their gratitude and making them smile. Some seniors can be a little stubborn, it takes a while to develop their trust and helping them make decisions. Having patience and not giving up and seeing them come around is very rewarding. I have always been an old soul as I love old music. I love history. Especially 50's music.
