I have been a caregiver 40 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. Looking primarily for day shift or overnight.

What makes me a great caregiver is excellent communication skills, I'm compassionate, dependable and trustworthy. What attracts me to being a caregiver is I'm fulfiled when I see the patients back to their feet. I enjoy assisting patients with their daily activities and what they cannot do by themselves. I have 30 years of experience in providing personal in-home care for disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and hospice patients. I assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. I monitor patients' vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
