I have over ten years of experience in caregiving, I'm also a registered RBT I hold my CPR and first aide license. I'm also fully vaccinated and I have a lot of skills in the medical field.

I became a caregiver because I have a passion with providing care to those individuals who need assistant with staying in the comfort of their home safely. I enjoy being apart of a team who promote clients to reach their highest level of independence. After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client. I'm independent, empathetic, trustworthy, reliable and really committed with the job I've been called to do. I'm currently a Geriatric Aide and working for the Center for Elder's Independence as well.

1. I became a caregiver through the inspiration of my late mother. She was in a vegetative state for almost 2 yrs. due to massive stroke. Reinvented myself from working in the corporate world (banking) to moving in the healthcare field. It's a different experience where one found joy and accomplishment working with the elderly. My salary rate is negotiable depending on client's needs. 2. Being a caregiver is very personal to me.. My focus is always the well-being & safety of my client. 3. Being a caregiver entails a lot of patience, compassion and experience to be able to understand every client's specific needs. . In my former job I was the lead CNA supervising 3 caregivers working 12 hrs. shift 24/7 in our client's own home. My relationship with my client & the family I've worked with has been very pleasant. I am a very caring person who loves to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. I love this job because I am able to help people in need of assisted care. I like my job because I can make a difference in someones life and can assist them in their daily needs. Being a caregiver for 15 years has helped me in so many ways, I have worked in Sarah Care Elderly Daycare with Alzheimer's and dementia, in private homes with diabetes, hypertension, stroke, etc... I love what I do because taking care of clients who need my help, gives me joy in my heart. I enjoy having the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference.
