Hello, I have been a caregiver for nearly 9 years. I have worked in a variety of settings from in-home to facilities. So I have gained alot of experience but on top of experience I get to be apart of someone's journey. Help achieve their goals. Which is one of the reasons I enjoy my job so much. I love to help and make a difference.

I am certified Nurse Assistant for 9 years and home health Aide the same time, my experience is to give care to elderly woman and men the daily activities care, and give each patients respect and love, that they deserve.

I have been a CNA since 2003. I worked in Dietary for a convalescent home. During my time working in dietary, I saw that our residents needed lots of support and I wanted to make a difference. I have experience as a in home care provider for a bedridden patient. I provided wound care, nourishment by G tube, required medications, and daily ADLS. I have been primary care giver for my grandfather providing daily ADLs, medicine intake, and meals. When my mother became ill, I served as her primary care taker as well. She was bedridden, so I was responsible for providing her daily meds, wound care, managed her nourishment by TPN, and provided hourly body rotations to prevent bed sores. I learned how to do wound care, how to manage KCI wound vac, and I'm familiar with mechanical lifts and sliding boards for transferring. A personal achievement I am proud of is that hospital staff would compliment me on the care I was providing my mother. They were impressed that even though she was bedridden for over a year, she never got a bed sore. I love helping our patients and building relationships with them. At times I've been told not build relationship so it doesn't get personal, but I find that the more comfortable they feel with me, the more receptive they are to my support and I can provide better care. I'm a very caring and patient person, and I want to continue helping those in need.

I love to work with people and also help with there meals,clean house also take them to Dr appenemts ,shoping and also give them there meds

To whom it may Concern: I am currently employed at Sue's Senior Connection working shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. but as of November 1, 2015 the company is shutting down and lying off all employees leaving myself without a job. I have been a caregiver since I was 16 years old. I have a passion with helping people. My grandmother and aunt have been caregivers for 20+ years and growing up as children I would constantly observe how they interacted with their patients and I instantly fell in love. I have a big heart and one heck of a helping hand.
