I am a very sociable person with great compassion and passion of giving care.I am graduating next Monday as an Licenced practical Nurse. With my transition from a home health Aide to a Practical Nurse I have received vast knowledge ,skills and experience in the field which improves my quality of care .I am gifted with patience ,understanding and kindness which everyone admires and commends me for.Out of a personal experience,I drew the passion to give to care having being the only able person available to take care of my ailing grandmother with a terminal illness till her final days.It brought out a side of compassion and empathy in me I didn't know existed and it boosted my spirit of continuing with my nursing career for a lifetime.I enjoy when I am able to meet my goals of client interaction benefits and wellness,getting to interact with clients of all walks of nature and sharing appropriate lifetime experiences with my clients and bringing out the best in them.A moment I am really proud of is during my clinical experience in a particular nursing home,I was the only one as a student who was able to use therapeutic communication to bring back a patient who was buried in depression over loss of a significant other.Through talk compassion and a lot of understanding,I helped the patient open up,talk his heart out,start eating again as well as take medications again of which he had completely refused after learning of the loss of the significant other.Family is forever grateful for that deed.I am a certified Home Health Aide,CPR and First Aid certified,I am also a certified Mandated reporter.

I love to care for the elderly with compassion knowing that one day I will be in need of care

Am patient, empathetic and compassionate with the elderly. I wanted to be a caregiver because i love taking care of people and also contributing positively to the society.

I have a great passion helping the elderly because I always see them as my parents. Am very honest and very patient. Every body I work with is happy with me.i always put smile on their faces.

I am a 30 year old mom. I got into healthcare in 2006 with the desire to help people in need. I love spending time with my family doing outdoor activities and just having quality time. I am certified in HHA, Acute Care, Phlebotomy and CPR. I love movies, the outdoors, cooking and baking.

I treat my clients as though they are my family. I always put my self in their shoes. The pain they go through everyday, the frustration of they can't get what they want or understand certain things like they used to. I am always on time. I am a team player, flexible,trustworthy, compassionate,hardworking and honest. But all in all I am always available for my clients. I became a caregiver when I took care of my 80 year old grandmother 10 years ago. She couldn't help her self in every aspect of life, this was so frustrating for her. When I gave a helping hand she was so happy that it rejuvenated her. It was a good feeling to see her smile again. I love caregiving because I love my job but first and foremost I love putting a smile on my clients faces, this makes my day. Personal achievement is I have managed to take my kids to good schools in Africa as well as build my wife and kids a nice home

A personal achievement I am proud of is my extensive knowledge about caring for people with Alzheimer's disease, which I attained though job training, seminars and in -services. I am both a certified CNA/HHA , I have 6 years of experience, I have worked in both a facility and home settings. And I am reliable and punctual.

I became a caregiver because I wanted to be a nurse. As a CNA I provide patients care and support emotionally,mentally and physically when needed in every possible way . My personal achievement as a caregiver is to see my patient happy and healthy. I enjoy working with my patients and to service them with their daily needs.
