I have been in healthcare for 11 years. I love helping people and I enjoy caring for people. I love everything about being a caregiver. I love the residents/clients. Their personalities, their conversations, and you can actually learn a lot just from helping others. I'm proud I took the next step and completed my CNA classes. I. Becoming a caregiver grew from my personal experience of caring for my grandfather. My grandfather built his home with his own hands and all he wanted was to live out his life in it. I believe that our age should not dominate our lives, how old we are does not determine who we are. I will do anything I can to help someone continue living in their home, because I believe if that's what they wish, then they deserve a chance.
