Hello and thank you for your consideration. I am a 27 year old single mother with a handsome 4 year old son who keeps me on my toes. I am a Medical Assistant and I earned my credits at the Everest Institute in Silver Spring, Md. I successfully completed the Medical Assisting program with a 2.0 GPA and graduated from the Everest Institute in November of 2013 proudly receiving my diploma. I was born and raised in Md and I am a caregiver because I love to help those who can't fully help themselves and I love the feeling of knowing that I can help make a difference in someone's life. I come from a very loving and respectful family so I am a very polite and respectful person with an open mind. My aunt owns a couple of nursing homes so I was pulled into the caregiver business by helping her out with the residents at her facility. Working with the residents and building new relationships with them touched my heart in a special way. It's something about the ederly that I love and respect being as though they have been here on earth longer than me and I find them to be wiser and often admire and love hearing their "back in my day" stories. I am very fortunate to still have both of my grandparents so please understand that I would treat your loved ones with the same love and respect that I give to my grandmother and grandfather. I became a CNA because my great grandmother passed away in her long-term living facility due to poor malpractice. I like being a CNA because I can assist those in need while putting a smile on their faces. I have worked in a rehabilitation and living facility center for more than a year. I have volunteered for two other facilities out side of my city as well as worked with children NB-HS ages. A personal achievement I am proud of is that I have came from a very unpleasant poor past and blossomed into a very upmost successful present life leading into my future. I also hold multiple other medical licenses which are, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Electrocardiogram Technician, Certified Phlebotomy Technician and a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant. Something about myself is that I love to learn, I've never smoked or drank and I try my best to enjoy life to the fullest with an open mind.

Hi all my name is Jamie and I am 23 yes old. I've been working in the medical field ever since I was 18. I started out working in an Assisted Living here in my hometown. After working there for 2 yrs I ventured off trying a travel type of job as a Travel Medical Assistant, great job but I guess you can say I became homesick so I came home and started working locally at my current job as a Phlebotomist at Quest Diagnostics but no that's not all since I love and had a passion for the elderly I decided to pick up 2 PT jobs at private sitting agencies. So yes I love love LOVE the elderly and just love all that they have to offer. So I look forward to meeting with each of you all hoping I will be that one to provide for your loved one!

I became a caregiver when my aunt got bad off sick and I promised her I will remain helping others that are in need. I like to put a smile on their face knowing that just really care for their well being. I am proud to say I really love what I do and proud of my job and responsibilities as a caregiver. Taking care of my grandmother who passed away from lung cancer is the reason why I am in the medical field.
