I love being a caregiver and taking care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something you can be proud of. Caregivers and residents also develop special relationships.Compassion, Competence, Confidence, Conscience and Commitment) Caregiving is providing care for the daily needs of someone that is unable to care for themselves.

I am compassionate, especially to elders. I am Interested in companionship for someone. I am retired, and I go to school part-time, online. I am flexible enough to be able to do days or evenings. I am proficient in English and a very good conversationalist. I am very personable and outgoing. I have been a HHA for almost 10 years. I currently freelance on home, hospital, rehab assignments I also helped my x husband at a group home, for MHMR. Altogether, I have 3 years plus in Houston and about 7 years in the Ft. Worth area. I mainly enjoying meeting new people, and helping with any service they are requiring. I am very good conversing with people in all walks of life. I list my most personal achievements as having reared 2 children, a step-daughter, retired and in my senior year of college at UHD, seeking a Bachelor's Degree, concentrating in Psychology. What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I became a caregiver not only to help people who are at a disadvantage but rather because I care about people and enjoy being a part of their lives. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. That alone shows how caring and concern I am about people who are unable to care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to bring a smile on the faces of my clients no matter what moods they are in for that particular day. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.

I have been in the healthcare field over nine years. I am currently going to school now for my CNA... I lobes being a Caregiver. It's where my heart and passion at. I promise my mother before she past away. That this is what I wants to do with my life. And I won't stop until I become a RN. I treats my patients as my own. And never a blunt moment with them.

I'm a professional minded individual who is family oriented and I take my job serious I treat people with respect and dignity the same way I want to be treated. I enjoy being a caregiver because I like to make someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better and I take pride in attention details. I feel that when I'm older I want someone like myself there to help me if I need help. My personal achievement that I take pride in is knowing that I helped someone get through the day.

I Enjoy helping people a whole lot, it gives me comfort knowing that I'm putting a smile on a person face or even making them feel better. It gives me hope knowing that i can make a difference in a person life. I started off in High school being in Health professions classes' and learning different things about health and how precious every ones life are. Helping is what my heart desire's to do, I'm a soft and heart warmth person who enjoy organizing and overall love doing daily tasks.

I love caring people because of a lot of reasons I starred caring when my grandma got sick i was 19 at this time. I love all the aspects of caring. I can help with daily living and provision of fun, safe and engaging activities to ensure that days are happy and fulfilling. Can Provide dignified care for both assisted living and memory care individuals , including individuals living with 1 /2 stages of Alzheimer's disease.

Compassion. When someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. Patience. Making a real difference.Making somoene smile. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of sick people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that care. I have learned a lot in my lifetime, and I have gotten better and better at a lot of things.I have helped other people. I have made other people smile that makes me happy.
