I'm a mother of two and a daughter. My mom lives with me. I'm a military spouse. I'm very compassionate, understanding and have big heart for elderly. I grew up with my grandparents since my father passed before I knew him. And my grandparents passed before I can give them the care they need. For that reason alone give me motivation to give the love for my grandparents that they never had from me to passed it on to other elderly people. I always treat them as my own grandparents. I have my CPR and BLS. I have food handling permit. I have my NAR and working to my CNA next month. Taking some of my pre-requisite to my Nursing degree.

I like Listening and communicating and understanding my clients, more above this it's my pressure to make sure they are safe and healthy. My name is Marlene Stacy, and I am currently a Licensed Practical Nurse, working in Skill nursing facility, memory care facility as well as in assisted living facility. I am passionate in helping people and save lives. Being in the field of nursing is a great experience helping others with medical condition and make their life easier. Working to provide them good services especially when it comes to times when Residents needs comfort and be able to build a good relationship with them to ensure that they are not alone. What I enjoyed the most in working in the medical field is to be part of these people's life and witness their accomplishments in getting better and continue working with them to provide all the good services they need. I hope one day I will be able to obtain my degree as a Registered nurse and continue on serving our people.

I have been a CNA for 18 years. I have worked as a live-in caregiver for a quadriplegic man, in skilled nursing facilities, post-surgical care in hospitals, and home health and hospice. I am a patient, caring, reliable individual who loves encouraging independence and am knowledgeable in catheter care, skin and wound care, and safe transfer techniques. I view my clients as my friends and love getting to know them.

For the past 6 years, I have followed a job track that prioritizes quality time and building relationships. This became a strong focus after a conversion I had in college, finding the purpose of my life in Jesus. Throughout my working life, my natural gifts of reflective listening, encouragement, self motivation, and inspiring others to work toward goals have been tuned and developed. I've learned also how to be self-reflecive, honest and clear in communication, and an efficient multitasker. Being asked to lead a missionary team for a year, and then doing it, is a personal achievement I look back on with gratitude because it forced me to utilize all my strengths and develop into skills I didn't think I had, like public speaking, attentiveness to detail and surrender to what I can't control. I would be a good caregiver because I'm passionate about sharing the love that I've been given- both in friendship and the tasks that come with caregiving- and helping whoever I'm with see how important they are.
