I have been a caregiver since 2009. I have a great passion for taking care of others and have spent most of my working career doing so. I have extensive experience in almost every area providing care for this population. I have worked with a variety of Alzheimer's and dementia clients as well as Parkinson's, MS, Diabetes, severe respiratory issues, Huntington's disease , cancer and those on hospice all which include many different special needs. I have a degree in Psychology from CSUS that I earned in 1983. If there's something new I'm not familiar with, I'm more than willing to learn. I love to cook and most likely can make almost anything up on request. I'm always willing to do house cleaning and laundry. I take pride in my work and always go above and beyond what is expected of me. I enjoy conversing with those I provide care for, they always have such interesting memories and history. My mission is to always treat my clients with the compassion, respect and dignity they deserve. I also work at the San Juan Unified School District with Autistic preschool children which requires much energy, patience and understanding. I am also fully vaccinated. I Enjoy making people's lives easier for them. Making sure that they have their dignity and still feel that they are in charge of their own home. Not go in and take over. Having a good relationship with who I help means so much. The reason in 1990 that I became a Caregiver was My Mom had breast cancer and I wanted to be the best I could be to take care of her. After My Mom passed away in 1993. Hello my name is Christine I have been a care giver my whole life ..I started out by taking care of a little girl with spinabifada for 3 years she was a neighbor. I watched Francesca from a new born till 3 in a half...She had lots of surgeries shunt put in and replaced ...she had to use a cathiter couldn't really walk did lots of physical therapy with her...I loved taking care of her ..I follow her on Facebook still..she is 35 now...Then I took care of my mother , brothers and little sister my mom has had lots of medical problems..I use to take care of a little girl name Mary and her sister but Mary had Ceribal Palsy she required alot of care watch her 40 hours aweek well her mom was in nursing school...Then I took care of a man in his 70s who was legally blind...I cooked and cleaned for him took him shopping read his mail for him ..I raised 4 children 3 boys and my beautiful daughter I adopted from Russia...I took care of my grandma who lived with me for 8 years...She had a stroke and dragged her foot alittle she passed away 5 years ago...I started working at All for u home care because I love and need to take care of people.. Taking care of someone gives me purpose and makes me happy ...

My expertise lies in assisting geriatric clients with activities to enrich your daily life. What attracted me to become a caregiver is that I would like to make a difference in people's lives. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is providing companionship and assisting people with shopping and light housekeeping. Hi my name is Darci, I have been working in health care for the past 25+ years. I started out as a Medical Assistant working in an Urgent Care Center in my early 20's. Soon after I was offered a position as a private caregiver for a quadriplegic female and I absolutely loved it. To me there is no job more rewarding and fulfilling then care giving. I have worked as a private in home caregiver and (2010-2015) as a Lead Caregiver/Caregiver trainer in a local Alzheimer's facility. I am also a DONA trained Postpartum Doula with many years experience in caring for new mothers and babies. It is my purpose to give the highest quality care to the families I have the pleasure of working with.

Everyone has a story. I like helping people and found working as a 'Home Care Aid' very fulfilling. Several years ago, my first client was a woman in hospice and I filled in so the family could get some rest. As I sat beside the lady, I looked around the room and saw pictures of her as a young woman on her wedding day, as a young mother and later as a grandmother. Her cook book was there with all kinds of personal notes etc. and just think I was so lucky to have been able to be there with her for that short time. Most of my clients I have been able to help with errands, transportation, meals, assisting with bathing and companionship. I value the time I have spent with the new friends I have made - short term and long term.
