Hello My name is Martha i live in Sacramento CA for about 36years moved to Davis CA to attend a better school.In my senior year i volunteered to work at this facilty working with the elderly AND I TRULY ENJOYED IT from that day in 95' i knew what i wanted to do.I started medical school in 97' but...found out i was pregnant i had put to put my dreams on hold.In 99' i started working at State Franchise Tax Board for 3yrs then my day my Co-worker asked'hey do you really enjoy working here i stated NO but i need to provide for my family from that day on i told myself 'do something you like to do! I can say i separted myself and found a job working with the elderly in 04' from then just worked as a caregiver for YEARS my daughter a teenager now so i decided to go back school and get my RN license and here i am! Thank God!

Im a Certified Nursing Assistant with 34 years exoerience, love to take care of the elderly because there like an open encyclopedia, they so much to talk to you about, and if youre willing to listen believe me you will learn a lot.

I have been a caregiver for over 40 years .... I have experience with wound care and sterile procedures. I understand Supra pubic catheters ,changing them etc . I spent 12 years taking care of a woman who had M.S... my recent job i helped a family care for their mother until she passed away i was with them for over a year. throughout my career I have done jobs which require light housekeeping, taking care of animals, shopping and companionship. I can offer overnight shifts also. I have fantastic references and looking for a great job with a great employer..... whether it is full time or part time. I can also do live in if needed..i love all animals too. Owning my car i have dependable transportation and i'm very reliable which previous employers would tell you. I have been living in Sacramento for over 20 years....... Reference letters given at interviews.

Being honest, caring, punctual and following instructions makes me a great caregiver. It's making a client feel comfortable about being themselves and caring about their needs that's very meaningful to me as I'm learning as I go along that not all clients are the same. My personal achievement is being able to make him/her laugh again and love life no matter what their circumstances. I have been doing caregiving for 15years.

I started caregiving as a part of my nursing studies. From there I realized I love working with the elderly and reminded me of working with my Great Grandfather who had Dementia. I make it my goal to provide calming and safe care for all my clients.

I am a compassionate caregiver who enjoys helping others. I came into caregiving when a family member became very ill. I am so proud I was able to care for her and provide appropriate amounts of support and comfort until she finally passed away. I have been in the field. For more than 25 years, I have been very successful in providing care for individuals according to each clients needs. I pride myself on the fact that I got one particular client who wasn't willing to participate in any exercise and was wheelchair bound to not only participate, but eventually began walking. I am extremely proud to say I absolutely adore working with seniors, I've been doing it for a long time. I love being in the company of them. I absolutely admire the stories and the way they did things.

My greatest accomplishment being as a caregiver, i work hard and am proud that my dedication to leadership coursework paid off. Knowing their family appreciates my help, kindness and entrust when i leave with their precious ones. Telling me and thanking me that i did a great job. My job includes preparing meals, laundry, light housekeeping, medication, bathing, dessing, grooming and feeding.
