Hello my name is Rachel. I recently just moved to the Knoxville area from Sarasota Florida. I've been a caregiver for 10 years. I love being a caregiver and helping bring happiness to someone's life. I'm skilled in most everything non-medically related. I can help with transporting to Doctors, cooking, laundry, bathing, exercising, light house cleaning, companionship, I know how to use a Hoyer lift. Of course I can transfer with gaitbelt (as needed). I treat all my clients like family as that is how I got into doing this type of profession. I took care of my grandparents in hospital beds inside our living room for years up until their very last breath. I take that same type of compassion with me to every clients house I go to. I can't wait to meet you and hopefully we will be a great match.

I became a caregiver 22 years ago when (at that time) my mothers employer was looking for a 'fill-in' person. I gave it a try and absolutely fell in love with what I did! I love being a caregiver because I find great joy in helping others!! I have worked with a lot of Seniors and I have helped them to be able to stay in their homes! Hello my name is Afinati Taylor I am 24 years old I have 3 beautiful children and a fiance. I been doing nursing work since I was the age of 15/16 I always seen my mother and my other family members that were nurses help the elderly and as time went by it ended up being something I loved to do .

I am very compassionate, caring, hands on. My mom was a caregiver and she was the epitome of what a great was can be. I enjoy helping others, I am a registered medication aide and I am proud of this achievement.

Empathy and compassion is what makes me a great caregiver. I started off at 16 years old taking care of my grandpa. Making sure he take his medicine, bath, and read him versus out of his bible. As I got older I knew this is what I wanted to do I want to help the elderly patients that can no longer do much for themselves. It's essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, caregivers will let the person know that they care about them and want to do what they can to help and that's what keeps me consistent. I love to keep clients smiling and talking. I received my CNA license and went to school to study for my degree in Medical Administration Assistant of Applied Science. But somehow I just went back to CNA doing what I really love for 10 years and counting. Also have my BLS license through American Heart Association

I have been a C.N.A. for now 2 years. I love what I do. My great grandma is who inspired me to be who I am today i took care of my great grandma for 5years she passed away 2years ago that's when I decided to do something i enjoyed doing. I wish I would have done the schooling when she was alive so I could have took better care of her i had no idea how to take care of prevent bed sores. No knowledge at all on bed sores.. But I did i know she would be proud of me. I treat my patients as if I'm taking care of my mom or grandma. I treat others how I want to be treated. I am good at what I do i do not mind working weekends or nights i am up for any shift. I work hard and always on time.

I am currently a CNA at Riverside Doctors Hospital but am looking to get into Home Health Care. I have been a CNA for over 2 years now and love every moment of it. I have a lot of patience and enjoy spending time with people. I love being there for someone's love one when they can't be, but they know that they are being well taken care of and watched over.
