I am a 37year old CNA and mother of three,I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I love being able to make a difference in someone else's life and make them happy.

What make me a great care giver is the love and care I have for my patient. I love to bond with them so that I know exactly how they like everything so that I can meet their needs. I am on time and and follow directions well. I became a caregiver because one of my hobby's is nurturing I love caring and helping people. Hello, my name is Angelica. I've been someone who goes above and beyond for people for as long as I've been able to. I have a kind spirit and making sure people are cared for properly has always been my main focus. It wasnt until highschool that I knew how to get started in a career that allowed me to do that. I've been a volunteer caregiver since 2019 and became certified and paid to do it starting December of 2020. Being as young as I am; I always had little nagging feelings about whether or not I was making an impact in patient's lives. It wasn't until I looked back at all the families I've cared for, as well as started working in a rehab facility, that I realized how much help I provide. I've had patients become emotional and show how grateful they are that I'm able to be so kind, patient, gentle, and humane all while making sure they are being taken care of fully. I believe that to be the thing I enjoy most about myself as a caregiver. It isn't "just a job," it's taking the time to help people who need it and treating them as the worthy people they are. It's also an achievement for me to remain this caring, disciplined person I've always been. Why I'm a good candidate for your family? I am the definition of dependable and responsible. Families and Providers trust me, because they know I am capable, passionate, and worthy of the task. Most people love for me to be around to keep things tidy, because i am excited when i see messes. I'm smart ,attentive, caring. I have a great sense of humor. I am a great companion! I became a caregiver out of necessity for my father and fell in love with it. I enjoy helping and encouraging someone who thinks less of themselves for just needing help.

I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .

I became a caregiver to help people feel more independent while in there own home .I love being a caregiver because the look on clients face when you make them feel independent is priceless. I am proud that everyone I come across loves the great work I do I am a parent to a son with autism so I know patience and helping makes a difference the medical field has always been my calling.

I have worked in the health field for most of my adult life. I worked with seniors and I love it. I relate to them and they relate to me. My last job was a sales job, but most of our clientele were seniors. They are so interesting to me. They always have great stories to tell and most have done so many wonderful things in their lives. I think God put me in this world to care for seniors!

I am upbeat and very friendly! I'm very compassionate and patient. Some things I feel that makes me a great caregiver is my integrity, punctuality, reliability, and my ability to observe and learn my clients pretty quickly. What attracts me to being a caregiver in particularly is I am passionate about helping the elderly because I've witnessed the negligence that elder people endure. It's very heartbreaking to see, so being that one good caregiver who is able to give the care I wish to receive for myself and my loved ones, if ever needed, makes a difference for me. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is seeing the smiles and laughs on my clients faces, it makes me feel good and like I'm doing something right. A personal achievement I am very proud of is being a strong advocator for my clients who can't advocate for themselves. For example, I have a client who is cognitive impaired and is living in a nursing facility. On several occasions I've stopped nurses from giving her the wrong medications, amongst other things. I can honestly say I really love what I do, and I love and care for my clients like they are family!
