I am a 37year old CNA and mother of three,I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I love being able to make a difference in someone else's life and make them happy.

As a Certified MedTech I have expertise in serving chronically ill patients by assisting them with Medication management, daily living activities and general household tasks, grooming and bathing assistance, house hold tasks, feeding assistance, I also have 1yr 8 month in healthcare Administration .As my resume states I have worked in the field and the skills that I gained are compassion, time management, effectiveness, patient focus, and provide reassurance to the client that I am willing and capable to assist and provide the most effective care and support.

I'm a kind person that's blessed with patience and compassion for giving care to those in need. I was introduced to caregiving when I was hired to assist my mom with an amputee patient. I later helped take care of my grandparents whom were both ill at the same time which inspired me to start being a full time caregiver. It warms my heart to know that I can help make a difference for someone and their family.[?]

I really enjoy being a caregiver a job that your able to make a difference in a clients everyday living. a relationship you just cant explain with your client or patient depends on level of care. I became a can in 1991 lookin for a different career path then . worked in nursing rehabilitation home for 3 years learned so much . I did work in for agencies for in home visits as well for the next 7 years. I continued my education in Georgia to become a cma certified medical assistant. I have recently taken a can course at Cumberland health center . recertified can cpr/ first aid .

Some things I feel that makes me a great caregiver is my integrity, punctuality, reliability, and my ability to observe and learn my clients pretty quickly. What attracts me to being a caregiver in particularly is I am passionate about helping the elderly because I've witnessed the negligence that elder people endure. It's very heartbreaking to see, so being that one good caregiver who is able to give the care I wish to receive for myself and my loved ones, if ever needed, makes a difference for me. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is seeing the smiles and laughs on my clients faces, it makes me feel good and like I'm doing something right. A personal achievement I am very proud of is being a strong advocator for my clients who can't advocate for themselves. For example, I have a client who is cognitive impaired and is living in a nursing facility. On several occasions I've stopped nurses from giving her the wrong medications, amongst other things. I can honestly say I really love what I do, and I love and care for my clients like they are family!

I have been a CNA for 20 years. I enjoy helping and working with our Seniors because they have taught me a lot over the years. I have experience working in homes, nursing homes, hospitals and I also have 5 years experience working for Hospice. I am Certified in CPR and First Aid. I am patience, dependable, neat and clean. I love to cook also. I am a non smoker, non drinker, I have a good driving record and I have a excellent background. Hello, My name is Jessica and I've been an LPN for 4 almost 5years. What made me become a nurse, is when my grandmother had a stroke which caused her to walk and talk all over again. I gained interest in learning how to make the recovery possible and would help her with bathing and other needs that I could assist with. From that point, my mind was set into becoming a nursing once I grew up and finished school. I made that possible in 2013, after graduating I've been working with geriatrics since I've become a nurse. I love working with the elderly, and helping those in need of regaining their physical abilities. My most honorable achievement is becoming a successful nurse and a mother of 3 handsome boys, which is my world. I am in process of going back to school to gain my Associates in RN.
