I have experience with mental and physical health, I am very patient and determined. When caring for other you have to have the patience for trial and error and the ability to stay positive in these situation, I always remain calm positive and helpful. What attracted me to caregiver was caring for my grandmother mostly all of my life helping her with everyday living, and also my mother being a LPN and currently in school; she always inspired my passion to help other.

Hello my name is Kayla M Newell. I have two sons and a cat. My personality traits that help me be a good CNA is that I listen to every want/needs the resident may want fulfilled. I try my best to make the resident happy and comfortable in anyway possible. What attracted me to becoming a CNA is that I enjoy working with people, I enjoy hearing all the life stories and lessons learned from all my residents. I enjoy getting information from them about anything. I just enjoy being around all my residents. They make me feel like I'm at home. I am a passionate caregiver who loves the work I do. I started out taking care of my ill grandmother at 17 years old in North Little Rock, Arkansas. I graduated two year ahead of my class at 16 years old in May of 2011. As soon I received my diploma, I quickly enrolled in CNA classes where I soon graduated first in my class in February 2012. I have been in the medical field ever since. My grandmother thankfully recovered fully in good health and since then I have worked in facilities and home health areas. I am an easygoing person with a bubbly personality. I love to make people laugh as well as feel comfort and peace in my presence.

I have been doing caregiving all of my life, approximately 25 years or so. I started as a Nanny in Greenwich CT. I then had my own son at 25 and wanted to try something new. I worked with the developmentally disabled for a few years and then I had the opportunity to do home health care for a total quadriplegic diagnosed with MS. I loved everything about caring for her. I took care of her for 5 years. I have done home health care ever since. I treat people as well as I would like to be treated. I am skilled, caring,loyal, responsible, and love to laugh!

I feel that my purpose was to be put into people's lives to help them with things they cannot do alone, and to help them succeed in general. I love helping other's and just the thought of knowing that I can be there to assist makes me happy. I am a great caregiver and does whatever is asked of me

I have a strong affinity to Seniors and believe that they are entering in a unique but confused time in their life. They are proud and have worked hard in their life and unfortunately the world as tech savvy as it is has created additional confusion to their life than necessary. I have great care and compassion with anyone with differing needs. I have been around the world in missions in SA, USA teaching and working with children and adults with differing needs. I have taught handicapped children therapeutic riding, I have taught adults with differing needs how to connect to technology to see a bigger world and gain enjoyment by using a computer. I am a extremely caring and compassionate young lady that has lost her father to Dementia. I have seen all sides and respect the changes that occur. I have worked for a large facility and did medicine management as well as direct resident care and any chore the resident required. I appreciate the fact that most of our elders are not in need of being in a community, however, they may just need that helping hand at home that assists in day to day tasks that they can no longer do. I am willing and capable to drive the resident to their necessary appointments or grocery shop or whatever or where ever they need to go,

My caring heart for the elderly is why I became a caregiver. I love my job and caring for others. I'm very patience, caring, dependable. I'm empathetic and compassionate, respectful, and understanding. My 10 plus years working with the elderly makes me a great fit. I have always since a little girl knew I wanted to work with the elderly, because of my relationship with my grandmother and also just helping the older people in my neighborhood if it was checking their mail, water the plants, taking the trash out and must importantly just a listing ear. I have FIRST AIDE & CPR certification and I'm currently a med passer at my job.
