Hello my name is Kayla M Newell. I have two sons and a cat. My personality traits that help me be a good CNA is that I listen to every want/needs the resident may want fulfilled. I try my best to make the resident happy and comfortable in anyway possible. What attracted me to becoming a CNA is that I enjoy working with people, I enjoy hearing all the life stories and lessons learned from all my residents. I enjoy getting information from them about anything. I just enjoy being around all my residents. They make me feel like I'm at home. My personal achievements that I'm proud of are reorganizing something to make it work better, identifying a problem and solving it, come up with a new idea that improve things!

I am a passionate caregiver who loves the work I do. I started out taking care of my ill grandmother at 17 years old in North Little Rock, Arkansas. I graduated two year ahead of my class at 16 years old in May of 2011. As soon I received my diploma, I quickly enrolled in CNA classes where I soon graduated first in my class in February 2012. I have been in the medical field ever since. My grandmother thankfully recovered fully in good health and since then I have worked in facilities and home health areas. I am an easygoing person with a bubbly personality. I love to make people laugh as well as feel comfort and peace in my presence.

I have always felt the need/ want to help people, but more so elderly people. It's more than just a job as a caregiver, but it's who I am. I took care of my mom on hospice for a year and after losing her I realized I wanted to help families make such difficult times a little easier like hospice, caregivers, counselors did for me.

I am compassionate and a good listener .I enjoy helping elderly people with their daily needs..I like to hear all the amazing life stories of clients ..I always put myself in the clients place to Understand their situations..And care for the client as if they were my family..

I love taking care of people. Great personality. Strive to be the best I can be. I am very empathetic and patient. I believe our elderly should be treated with kindness, patience and respect. I went to college and graduated as a medical assistant but prefer doing what I have done for years. Going home knowing I am appreciated and have helped someone is what makes me happy and fullfilled.

I have always had a passion to help people and to care for people. I am very punctual and have an excellent attendance record. I love to make people laugh and smile and make a difference in their life.

I have been doing caregiving all of my life, approximately 25 years or so. I started as a Nanny in Greenwich CT. I then had my own son at 25 and wanted to try something new. I worked with the developmentally disabled for a few years and then I had the opportunity to do home health care for a total quadriplegic diagnosed with MS. I loved everything about caring for her. I took care of her for 5 years. I have done home health care ever since. I treat people as well as I would like to be treated. I am skilled, caring,loyal, responsible, and love to laugh!

I have a strong affinity to Seniors and believe that they are entering in a unique but confused time in their life. They are proud and have worked hard in their life and unfortunately the world as tech savvy as it is has created additional confusion to their life than necessary. I have great care and compassion with anyone with differing needs. I have been around the world in missions in SA, USA teaching and working with children and adults with differing needs. I have taught handicapped children therapeutic riding, I have taught adults with differing needs how to connect to technology to see a bigger world and gain enjoyment by using a computer. I am a extremely caring and compassionate young lady that has lost her father to Dementia. I have seen all sides and respect the changes that occur. I have worked for a large facility and did medicine management as well as direct resident care and any chore the resident required. I appreciate the fact that most of our elders are not in need of being in a community, however, they may just need that helping hand at home that assists in day to day tasks that they can no longer do. I am willing and capable to drive the resident to their necessary appointments or grocery shop or whatever or where ever they need to go,

I am a sociable person with a natural capability of providing continuous care. Empathy is embedded in my personality, and I am a good listener. I provide great companionship. I am one hundred percent dedicated to my client's care, I enjoy being able to help others on a daily basis. I love to see that my efforts and care can make a difference, and make a positive impact on the consumers well being.
